Chapter 7: Reunited with Kylie
The sun was shining brightly in Los Angeles when Gabriel arrived at Kylie Jenner's mansion. The call came early that morning, a brief but to the point: Kylie had to leave for important appointments and wanted Gabriel to be in charge of her security.
He could tell it was going to be a busy day, especially since the businesswoman was known to attract media attention wherever she went.
As Gabriel pulled his SUV into the driveway, he checked his watch. It was perfectly on time, as usual. As he stepped out of the car, Kylie appeared at the door, wearing a stylish black tracksuit and large sunglasses. She was holding Stormi's hand, who was bouncing excitedly beside her.
"Good morning, Gabriel," Kylie greeted with a friendly smile. "Ready to take on another day with me?"
"Good morning, Mrs. Jenner," he replied professionally. "Always ready."
Stormi let go of her mother's hand and ran over to Gabriel. "Hi, Gabriel! Are you coming with us again today?"
He smiled, bending down to speak to the girl. "Yes, I'll be with you all day. I promise it will be safe and fun."
"Yay!" Stormi exclaimed, walking back to Kylie's side.
The first stop of the day was the headquarters of her cosmetics brand. Kylie had to review new launches and meet with the marketing team. During the drive, Gabriel drove in silence, always aware of his surroundings.
"So, Gabriel," Kylie began, breaking the silence in the car. "I heard you've been causing quite a stir."
Gabriel glanced briefly in the rearview mirror. "What do you mean?"
"People have been talking about you on social media," she explained, laughing lightly. "It seems like you're the Kardashian family's 'mystery bodyguard' now."
"I didn't mean to draw attention to yourself," he replied, keeping his tone serious. "My job is to protect you, not to be noticed."
"Well, maybe it's unavoidable," she said with a smile. "You have a commanding presence."
Stormi, not fully understanding the conversation, interrupted. "Are you famous now, Gabriel?"
"No, Stormi. I just work for your mommy," he replied gently, earning a laugh from Kylie.
Upon arriving at the company headquarters, Gabriel got out of the car first, quickly scanning the area before opening the door for Kylie and Stormi. There were a few photographers in the distance, trying to capture pictures. Gabriel positioned himself strategically, shielding them as they entered the building.
Inside, Kylie introduced him to a few people on her team. "This is Gabriel, my personal security guard. He's been amazing," she said enthusiastically.
"Nice to meet you," one of the assistants said, extending her hand. "Kylie speaks highly of you."
Gabriel nodded to her, keeping a low profile. He preferred to observe rather than speak.
While Kylie was in a meeting, Gabriel remained near the door of the conference room, ever attentive. His phone vibrated, and he saw notifications of messages and mentions on social media.
The posts about him were spreading, but he ignored them, focusing on the mission. After about two hours, Kylie emerged from the room, looking satisfied.
"Okay, now we can move on to the next stop," she said. "Stormi, are you ready?"
"Yes, Mommy!" the little girl replied, holding up a small makeup case she had received as a gift from the team.
The next stop was a luxury mall, where Kylie planned to do some discreet shopping for an upcoming event. Gabriel knew the challenge would be greater there. Public places were always harder to manage, especially with paparazzi and fans in attendance.
"Let's try to keep this as quick as possible," Kylie said as they walked deeper into the mall.
Gabriel led the way, keeping a controlled pace as he scanned every corner. He noticed two men with hidden cameras trying to follow them from a distance.
Stepping closer to Kylie, he whispered, "There are photographers behind us. I suggest we speed up."
Kylie nodded, trusting his judgment.
Entering an exclusive boutique, Gabriel stood at the entrance, keeping an eye on the movement outside. One of the employees approached, clearly interested.
"You're Kylie's security guard? Wow, you look like a model!" she said, not hiding her excitement.
"I'm just here to ensure her safety," Gabriel replied directly but politely, avoiding prolonging the conversation.
As Kylie tried on clothes, Stormi pulled Gabriel closer to a large mirror.
"Look, Gabriel, I picked out an outfit for you!" she said, holding up a miniature suit.
He laughed softly. "I think I'll leave the styling to your mom."
Kylie appeared, laughing at the comment. "Stormi is trying to turn everyone into fashionistas."
"She has talent," Gabriel replied, keeping his tone light.
As they exited the boutique, a small group of fans were waiting for them. Gabriel positioned himself next to Kylie, paying close attention to people's behavior.
Some asked for photos, and Kylie, always friendly, quickly took a few. Gabriel kept a safe distance between her and the fans, making sure no one got too close. In the parking lot, as they walked back to the car, Kylie turned to Gabriel.
"You always seem so calm. Do you ever lose control?"
"In extreme situations, control is all we have," he replied, closing the car door after Kylie and Stormi got in.
Kylie studied him for a moment before smiling. "It's nice to have someone like that by our side."
The day ended with a quick visit to an exclusive coffee shop, where Kylie met a friend for a relaxed chat. Gabriel stayed close but discreet, making sure their tranquility was not interrupted.
On the way back to the mansion, already at dusk, Kylie got out of the car and looked at Gabriel. "Thank you for today, Gabriel. I know it was probably just another ordinary day for you, but it means a lot to me and Stormi to have you with us."
"It's always a pleasure to help, Mrs. Jenner," he replied.
Kylie smiled, a little warmer this time. "Please just call me Kylie. After all, we're almost a team."
Gabriel nodded with a slight smile before taking his leave.
Although his day had been full of challenges and unwanted attention, he knew he had done his job perfectly—and that was all that mattered to him.
Chapter 8: Protecting Kim Kardashian
It was early when Gabriel got the call. Kim Kardashian's voice was calm but direct. She had important commitments that day, and her team had requested Gabriel's services to ensure her security.
He knew that working with Kim would be different. She was not only a businesswoman, but also one of the most recognizable figures in the world. Her every move was monitored by paparazzi, fans, and sometimes people with less than friendly intentions.
Gabriel arrived at Kim's mansion at the agreed time, wearing his usual attire: black pants, a fitted shirt, and a look that conveyed focus and seriousness. As soon as he got out of the car, Kim appeared at the door, impeccable as always, wearing an elegant black dress and sunglasses.
"Good morning, Gabriel," she greeted him with a smile, extending her hand.
"Good morning, Mrs. Kardashian," he replied, shaking her hand briefly.
"Please call me Kim," she corrected, her tone friendly. "We're going to have a busy day, so I hope you're prepared."
"I'm always prepared, Kim," he replied, his tone calm and professional.
The first engagement was a charity event in downtown Los Angeles. Kim had a scheduled appearance to promote a fundraiser, and the venue was already swarming with fans and photographers. Gabriel drove the SUV carefully, mapping out alternate routes in case a quick evacuation was needed.
On the way, Kim, ever curious, tried to make conversation.
"Gabriel, tell me more about yourself. You seem so… calm and collected all the time. Does that come from some specific training?"
"It's part of my job," he replied, without taking his eyes off the road. "I spent many years in the Amphibious Commandos, a special operations unit. It taught me how to deal with high-pressure situations."
Kim raised an eyebrow in interest. "Amphibious Commandos? Is that like a Brazilian Navy SEAL?"
"More or less," he said, keeping it simple. "We operate on land, sea, and air. Intense training, but effective."
"Impressive," she commented, crossing her legs and adjusting her glasses. "You must have some amazing stories."
Gabriel just smiled slightly, changing the subject. "I'd rather focus on the present."
When they arrived at the event, Gabriel went out first, quickly scanning the venue. The area was packed, with a barrier separating fans from the main entrance. He opened the door for Kim, staying close as she waved to the crowd.
The screams and flashes of photographers were incessant. Gabriel noticed a man in the middle of the crowd acting suspiciously, holding what looked like a cell phone, but with very calculated movements. He immediately radioed his team.
"Suspect at 2 o'clock, watch," he said calmly, as he continued to protect Kim.
Kim, for her part, remained calm, fully trusting in Gabriel's professionalism. When she stopped to give a brief interview, he stood to the side, observing everyone around.
"Kim, do you feel safe with all this attention?" asked one of the reporters.
"With Gabriel by my side, absolutely," she replied, looking at him with a smile.
At the event, Gabriel remained in the shadows, always attentive. Kim was surrounded by influential people, and he analyzed every interaction, every approach, always ready to intervene if necessary. During a pause, she turned to him.
"You don't seem to blink," she commented, jokingly.
"It's my job. I can't afford to miss anything," he replied with a slight smile.
"Well, I must say you do it very well," she said, taking a sip of water before returning to the next photo shoot.
The second appointment of the day was a business meeting in a skyscraper in the city center. Kim needed to discuss details about a new fashion project. On the way, she started more conversation, interested in getting to know the man who was now part of her professional life.
"Do you miss Brazil, Gabriel?"
He thought for a moment before answering. "I miss some things. My family, the language, the food... but the work here keeps me busy."
"And why did you decide to move to the United States?"
"Disillusionment," he answered honestly. "Brazil is an incredible place, but certain things... corruption, lack of real opportunities for those who want to make a difference... made me look for something new."
Kim nodded, understanding. "I understand. Sometimes we need to move away to find our place."
At the meeting, Gabriel stood outside the room, keeping eye contact with the building's security guards. He recognized the importance of forming quick alliances in new environments. One of the guards approached, admiring.
"Are you Kim Kardashian's personal security guard?"
"That's right," Gabriel replied, without elaborating.
"Where did you learn to be so... attentive?"
"Years of practice," he said, politely ending the conversation.
The last appointment of the day was a visit to a recording studio, where Kim would be interviewed for a podcast. The atmosphere was calmer, but Gabriel didn't relax. He knew that seemingly safe places could hide surprises.
While Kim was in the studio, a member of the production team approached Gabriel.
"You're very reserved, aren't you?"
"I do what's necessary," he replied, keeping his tone neutral.
"Well, it seems that Kim trusts you a lot. It's not every day that she praises someone like that."
Gabriel just nodded, not feeding the conversation. He preferred to let his actions speak for themselves.
On the way back to the mansion, already at night, Kim sighed in relief as she got out of the car. "It was a long day, but everything turned out well. Thanks to you."
"I just did my job," Gabriel replied, walking her to the door.
"You're more than that, Gabriel," she said, pausing for a moment. "You're trustworthy. And in a world like mine, that's rare."
"I'm glad I could help, Kim," he replied sincerely.
She smiled before walking into the mansion. Gabriel walked back to the SUV, satisfied that he had accomplished his mission with excellence once again. He knew that working with the Kardashians was unique, but he was determined to continue to be the steady, reliable presence they needed.
Chapter 9: Protecting Kim and the Kids at the Game
Saturday promised to be a busy one. Gabriel received the itinerary early: Kim Kardashian would be taking her children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, to a soccer game in Los Angeles. It was a family affair, but for Gabriel, it meant extra attention, since sporting events often drew crowds and paparazzi.
When he arrived at Kim's mansion, he found the family already ready. The kids were wearing personalized jerseys with the names of their favorite players, excited for the event. Kim, for her part, wore a high-fashion sports outfit and large sunglasses, balancing comfort and style.
"Good morning, Gabriel," Kim greeted him with a smile as she fixed North's hair.
"Good morning, Kim. Good morning, kids," he replied with a slight wave, bending down to greet the little ones.
"Hi, Gabriel!" Saint exclaimed, running up to him. "Do you like soccer?"
"I do like it," Gabriel replied. "It's a very popular sport in Brazil. I played it a few times when I was younger."
"Are you good?" North asked curiously.
"I try," Gabriel replied with a smile, drawing laughter from his brothers.
On the way to the stadium, the energy in the car was contagious. The kids chatted nonstop about the players and the plays they wanted to see. Kim watched everything with a smile, visibly happy to spend the day with her family.
"Have you been to many stadiums, Gabriel?" Kim asked.
"A few, yes," he replied. "But never on such a quiet day. The events I attended usually involved some kind of operation."
"Operation?" Saint asked, confused.
"He's talking about his job, silly," North replied. "Gabriel is like a superhero."
Gabriel laughed softly. "Not exactly, but thanks for the compliment."
Upon arriving at the stadium, Gabriel went into operational mode. He got out of the car first, scanning the surrounding area. The security guards were already in place, but he knew he had to trust his own judgment.
"Stay close to me," Gabriel said as he opened the door for Kim and the kids.
The group walked toward the VIP entrance. The roar of the crowd was already noticeable, with fans screaming, vendors hawking merchandise, and photographers trying to capture every move. Gabriel positioned himself strategically, shielding Kim and the kids as he led them to the reserved area.
"You're always so alert," Kim commented as she adjusted her glasses.
"It's my job. Here, with so many people, the chances of something going wrong increase," he replied calmly.
"Good to know we're in good hands," she said, offering a smile of appreciation.
During the game, the kids were ecstatic, screaming and cheering with each exciting play. Saint climbed up on his chair to get a better look, while Chicago sat on Kim's lap, pointing at the players.
Gabriel stood next to their row, watching the crowd. Some fans recognized Kim and began taking pictures from afar. He quickly noticed the camera angles and adjusted his position, blocking the more invasive attempts.
"Don't you get tired of standing?" Kim asked during a pause.
"I'm used to it," he replied. "Besides, sitting down would limit my view."
"You're like a machine," she joked.
"Machines need maintenance too," he replied with a slight smile.
During the break, the kids asked to buy snacks. Gabriel offered to accompany them to the concessions area while Kim stayed in her seat, enjoying the moment of rest.
"Watch out for them, Gabriel," Kim said playfully, but clearly trusting him.
"I'll do it," he replied.
The walk to the food stands was a mini-adventure. Saint wanted popcorn, North insisted on nachos, and Chicago wanted cotton candy. Gabriel carried the items with impressive skill, balancing everything while still keeping an eye on the surroundings.
"Gabriel, have you ever been to a game like this in Brazil?" Saint asked as he took a bite of popcorn.
"Yes, but it was very different. In Brazil, the games are more chaotic, and the fans are very passionate. It's a unique experience."
"I want to go to Brazil someday!" North said excitedly.
"You should. It's a beautiful country," Gabriel replied as he led the children back to their seats.
When the game resumed, Gabriel noticed a group of men who seemed more interested in Kim than the game. They whispered among themselves and pointed in his direction. He remained calm, but prepared to act if necessary.
"Problems?" Kim asked quietly, noticing the change in Gabriel's expression.
"Not yet," he replied. "Just keep the children close."
The men didn't approach, but Gabriel kept an eye on them until the end of the game.
When the game ended, Kim and the kids were excited, talking about the best moments as Gabriel led them back to the car. The parking lot was full of people, and Gabriel remained on high alert.
"You're always so serious," Kim commented as he opened the car door for her.
"With crowds like this, it's better to be safe than sorry," he replied.
On the way back, the children began to doze off, exhausted after a busy day. Kim glanced at Gabriel, who was driving with the same steady, controlled demeanor as always.
"I don't say this often, but I'm really impressed with you, Gabriel. It's not just what you do, but how you do it. My family feels safe with you, and that's priceless."
"Thank you, Kim," he replied, without taking his eyes off the road. "It's an honor to be able to protect you and your children."
She smiled sincerely. "You're more than just security. You're part of our team now. I hope you know that."
Gabriel nodded slightly, feeling satisfied that he had accomplished his mission. For him, each day was a unique challenge, but protecting that family became more than just a job, it was a responsibility he took seriously.
