Chapter 67: The Safety Test
It was a typical sunny weekend in California, and Kris Jenner's house was busy as usual. Kylie Jenner had decided to bring her new boyfriend, actor Timothée Chalamet, for a family lunch. It was the first time he would be with the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan, and the atmosphere was full of anticipation and curiosity.
Gabriel was there, attentive as always. His presence brought security and comfort, but he also knew that this would be a different day. After all, the Jenner sisters were known for their jokes and sharp comments, and Timothée would not escape that.
Gabriel was in the entrance hall, discreetly monitoring the movement. When Kylie arrived, he greeted her with a slight nod. Beside him, Timothée seemed a little nervous, but kept his composure.
"Hi, Gabriel," Kylie said with a smile. "This is Timothée."
Gabriel assessed the actor with a professional and polite gaze. "Nice to meet you." His voice was calm but firm.
Timothée extended his hand. "Nice to meet you. I've heard a lot about you."
Gabriel shook his hand, keeping his gaze direct, which made the actor swallow hard. "I hope things are good."
Kylie laughed and grabbed Timothée's arm, guiding him inside. "Come on, you'll love my mother's cooking."
The dining room was immaculate, with Kris coordinating everything like a true matriarch. Timothée was warmly welcomed by his sisters, but not without a few jokes.
Kendall, always the most playful, glanced at Gabriel, who was standing near the entrance, scanning the room.
"So, Gabriel," she began, with a mischievous smile. "Timothée passed the security check?"
The room was silent for a moment, with everyone looking at Gabriel. He rarely participated in these conversations, but this time he gave a rare smile.
"I'm still evaluating," he said, his voice full of humor. "But if he doesn't pass... Well, I'll get rid of him."
The reaction was immediate. The entire table erupted in laughter. Kim nearly choked on her water, and Khloé slammed the table, laughing loudly.
"Gabriel, you need to be more in our conversations!" Khloé said with a laugh.
Timothée laughed too, albeit a little nervously. "I guess I need to be careful, then."
Gabriel responded with a small nod and returned to his serious posture, but the gleam in his eyes indicated that he was having as much fun as they were.
During lunch, Timothée tried to break the ice by asking more about Gabriel's work.
"So, Gabriel," Timothée began, "you're the security guard for the whole family? It must be a... challenging job."
Gabriel shrugged. "It's a responsible job, but nothing I can't handle."
Kylie chimed in, smiling.
"He's the best. If it weren't for him, I don't know where we'd be."
"And you seem very discreet," Timothée commented. "That must be essential in your job."
Gabriel just nodded. "Discretion is important, but the main thing is to always be prepared."
Kendall, still in a joking mood, turned to Timothée. "So, you're officially being watched by Gabriel. You better not do anything wrong."
Another round of laughter filled the room, as Gabriel watched the interaction with a slight smile on his face.
After the meal, as everyone dispersed throughout the house, Timothée approached Gabriel.
"I just wanted to say," he began, looking a little shy, "that I really admire what you do. It must be an incredible job."
Gabriel looked at him for a moment before answering. "Thank you. And you're doing well here. Not everyone can handle the pace of this family."
Timothée laughed, relaxing a little more. "I'm trying. But I admit that the 'disappearing with me' comment scared me a little."
Gabriel gave a short smile. "Just kidding. Kind of."
Timothée blinked, unsure if Gabriel was serious or not, but he ended up laughing.
"Good to know."
Meanwhile, the Kardashian sisters were gathered in the living room, talking about Timothée and, of course, Gabriel.
"Did you see how nervous Timothée got around Gabriel?" Khloé said, laughing. "He's so intimidating!"
Kylie smiled. "But at the same time, he was polite. Gabriel has this way about him... firm but respectful."
Kim nodded. "I never thought he would joke around like that. It was great to see that side of him."
Kris, always attentive, commented: "Gabriel is much more than he seems. He has a good heart, he just doesn't show it all the time."
Kendall smiled, remembering Gabriel's comment. "If I were Timothée, I would be nervous too. Gabriel has this energy that he could disappear with you in the blink of an eye."
As the day came to an end, Timothée said goodbye to everyone, thanking them for their warm welcome. Gabriel, as always, watched from a distance, making sure everything was in order.
As Kylie and Timothée left, Kendall approached Gabriel.
"You really scared him today," she said, laughing.
Gabriel shrugged. "I was just kidding. But if you need me..."
Kendall shook her head, laughing again. "You're one of a kind, Gabriel. I don't know how we ever lived without you before."
Gabriel responded with a slight smile before returning to his attentive posture. For him, it was just another day at work, but for the Kardashian-Jenner family, his presence had become indispensable
Chapter 68: A Jump to Remember
It was a bright, sunny morning when Gabriel and Stassie arrived at the airfield. The sky was clear, perfect for what Stassie had insisted on doing: a skydive. Gabriel, initially reluctant, eventually gave in to her enthusiasm, especially since it was something he did often in training and considered safe as long as it was done correctly.
Stassie, on the other hand, was nervous. Although she really wanted to experience it, the idea of jumping out of a plane seemed daunting.
"You're sure you know what you're doing, right?" she asked as they walked toward the hangar.
Gabriel chuckled softly, looking at her. "Stassie, I've done this more times than I can count. Trust me, you're going to love it."
"Easy for you to say," she replied, crossing her arms. "You're practically Superman."
Gabriel smiled. "And you'll be with me the whole time. I won't let anything happen to you."
In the hangar, Gabriel introduced Stassie to the instructor in charge, who went over all the procedures with her. Gabriel helped her put on the gear, adjusting every detail to make sure it was perfectly secure.
"Is the gear too tight?" he asked as he adjusted the straps.
Stassie nodded, though her hands were shaking slightly. "It's fine... I think."
"Hey," Gabriel said softly, cupping her face with one hand. "I'll be with you the whole time. You just have to enjoy the moment."
Stassie nodded, trying to control her breathing. "Okay, I trust you. But if I freak out in the air, don't judge me, okay?"
Gabriel smiled. "I promise. And if you want, I can record the whole thing with the GoPro so you can post it later. It'll be epic."
Stassie's face lit up at the thought. "Seriously? That would be awesome! But only if I don't look like an idiot screaming."
"You never look like an idiot," he replied, attaching the camera to his helmet.
Shortly after, the two of them were aboard the small plane that would take them to 13,000 feet. Stassie sat in front of Gabriel, with him already attached to her by the harness. She looked out the window, seeing the ground getting further and further away, and her anxiety grew.
"Oh my God, Gabriel, that's so high!"
"We're not even halfway there yet," he replied calmly, adjusting the settings on his equipment.
Stassie turned slightly to look at him. "Do you have to say that? Can't you just lie and say we're almost there?"
Gabriel laughed. "If I lie, how are you going to trust me? Relax, Stass. You're with me."
He placed his hands on her shoulders, massaging lightly to ease the tension. "Take a deep breath. Close your eyes if you need to. When we're up there, everything will feel amazing."
She closed her eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath as he instructed. "You're right. I can do this."
"That's it," he replied.
Then he leaned down and whispered in her ear, "And just in case, I'll give you something to distract you."
Before she could ask what it was, Gabriel leaned in closer and kissed her softly. The gesture took her by surprise, but it also soothed her.
"Thanks for that," she said, smiling slightly. "I think I'm feeling better already."
As the plane door opened, the sound of wind filled the space. Stassie held her breath for a moment, but Gabriel gave her a gentle squeeze by the shoulders.
"Time to shine," he said. "Are you ready?"
"I think so," she replied hesitantly.
"Good," he said, adjusting his position. "On the count of three, we're going to jump. Trust me, it's going to be the best feeling of your life."
"Okay. One... two... wait! Are we going already?"
Gabriel laughed as he jumped with her, not giving her time to hesitate.
The wind hit Stassie's face, and for a moment, she screamed in fright. But then she opened her eyes and saw the landscape below: green fields, mountains in the distance, and the endless blue sky all around.
"This is amazing!" she shouted, laughing as the wind made her hair fly.
Gabriel, behind her, was also smiling. "I told you you'd love it."
He adjusted the GoPro, recording everything. "Say hi to the camera, Stass!"
"Hi!" she shouted, waving at the camera and laughing. "I'm flying!"
Gabriel laughed with her, enjoying the moment. After a few seconds of freefall, he pulled the parachute. The impact was soft, and they began to descend slowly.
When they reached the ground, Stassie was beaming. She had taken off her helmet, her hair a little messy, but a smile lit up her face.
"I can't believe I did that! It was amazing!" she said, turning to Gabriel and hugging him tightly. "You're the best!"
"I just showed you the way," he replied, smiling.
"No, seriously," she insisted. "Without you, I would never have had the courage to do this. It was the best day of my life."
Gabriel cupped her face again, looking into her eyes. "I told you you would love."
Stassie pulled him in for a kiss, a longer one this time. When they pulled away, she smiled mischievously. "You recorded the whole thing, didn't you? Because I want to post it NOW."
Gabriel laughed, taking the card out of the camera. "All yours. But you know it's going to go viral, right?"
"Let it go viral," she said, laughing. "I want everyone to see how amazing you are."
On the way home, Stassie couldn't stop looking at the images on her phone, laughing and remembering each moment. Gabriel, as he drove, glanced at her every now and then, pleased that he had provided something so special.
"You know," she said, looking at him, "that was the best day ever. But only because it was with you."
Gabriel smiled, keeping his eyes on the road. "The important thing is that you had fun. And now you trust me even more."
"I always have," she replied, holding his hand. "Now it's just one more reason to."
The day ended with the two of them closer than ever, sharing laughs and stories. Stassie knew that with Gabriel by her side, life would always be full of adventure and excitement and he knew that with her, everything would be lighter and more fun.
Chapter 69: The Jump That Shook the Internet
When Stassie posted the video of her skydiving with Gabriel, she had no idea how much of a stir it would cause. The footage was impeccable: the clear blue sky, the sound of the wind cutting through the air, her nervous laughter before the jump and, of course, Gabriel with his calm, confident expression.
But what really caught everyone's attention were the relaxed moments between them the kiss before the jump, the laughter during the free fall, and the perfect landing accompanied by a warm hug.
In the caption, Stassie wrote:
"One of the most incredible moments of my life with the man who makes my heart jump even higher. Thank you for helping me conquer this fear, Gabriel ❤️."
She also tagged Gabriel in the video, which immediately directed thousands of people to his profile, generating an avalanche of comments.
The video quickly went viral, being shared by fans, gossip portals, and even lifestyle and extreme sports pages. The content was too captivating to go unnoticed.
On Twitter, hashtags like #StassieEGabriel, #CoupleOfDreams, and #GabrielTheBestSecurity started trending. Fans couldn't stop commenting:
"I thought Stassie was already perfect, but now she has Gabriel? How lucky is that?!"
"Gabriel is the most incredible man I've ever seen. Not only is he gorgeous, he's also a protector, and he also skydives? Where can you find one of those?"
"The way he looks at her... I'm crying here. I want a Gabriel in my life too!"
On Instagram, the video accumulated millions of views in just a few hours, with comments from fans and celebrities alike.
Kylie Jenner left a comment:
"You two are unbearably cute. I want my turn to skydive, Gabriel!"
Kendall Jenner also got in on the act:
"Okay, I always knew you were fearless, Stassie, but this was a whole other level. And Gabriel... speechless, as always."
Even Khloé Jenner joked:
"If I jumped, I'd scream so hard the parachute wouldn't even hold me. Proud of you, Stassie! And Gabriel, you're the calmest person I've ever met. How do you do it?"
Celebrity portals quickly picked up the story and began speculating about the two's relationship.
TMZ:
"Stassie and Gabriel: More than just security? After thrilling skydiving, the couple shows undeniable chemistry. What's next for them?"
E! News:
"Stassie Karanikolaou posts video with Gabriel, the private security guard who became an internet sensation. The two seem closer than ever. Could we be seeing the next Hollywood power couple?"
Page Six:
"From bouncer to internet star: Gabriel is the man everyone wants to be. After Stassie's skydiving video goes viral, fans wonder how she got so lucky."
The headlines highlighted not only the jump, but Gabriel's personality. His calm demeanor, his connection with Stassie, and of course, his impeccable physique, made him an even bigger topic than the video itself.
While all this was happening, Gabriel was at home, quietly laughing at the messages he was receiving. He's never been one to put himself out there, but the video brought a wave of attention he couldn't ignore.
Stassie, on the other hand, was beaming. She loved seeing people compliment Gabriel, especially since she knew how much he avoided the spotlight.
"See, Gabriel?" she said, showing the comments on Instagram. "The whole world is in love with you right now."
"I prefer to fly under the radar," he replied, a smirk breaking across his face. "But if you're happy, that's all that matters."
"Happy? I'm overjoyed!" she said, sitting down next to him. "You know how special this was for me. And now everyone can see how amazing you are."
Gabriel shrugged. "I just did what anyone would do for someone they like."
Stassie kissed him on the cheek, smiling. "You're too modest. That's why I like you so much."
Although Gabriel was averse to so much attention, he couldn't deny that there was something comforting about knowing that people admired his connection with Stassie. The two began receiving invitations from television shows, celebrity events, and even brands wanting to sponsor them as a couple.
"I'm not having any of that," Gabriel told Stassie when she mentioned a sports brand that wanted to hire them for a campaign.
"I know, you're all reserved. But you know I think that's sexy, right?" she replied, laughing.
Gabriel rolled his eyes, but ended up laughing along. "You're impossible."
The video of Stassie and Gabriel continued to circulate, sparking discussions about how love could emerge in the most unexpected places. For the two, the skydive was more than just a moment of adventure it was a symbol of trust and partnership.
While the media and fans continued to be fascinated by their story, Gabriel and Stassie focused on what really mattered: the connection they were building, one leap at a time.
