Seiya's heart soared skyward toward his staff, drawn irresistibly to the upright chain, where it was swept along with the life forces gathered upon it.
The demon's gaze turned up, eyes following the heart till it got stuck on the chain. Realizing that Seiya had beat him to his heart, a small smile played on the demon's lips. "I had always been so far behind in speed," he remarked casually.
Eyes still glued up at the floating staff above, he muttered. "I had been wondering just what exactly was floating so eerily in the sky."
The demon took some few retreating leaps, then extended his hand toward the sky. "Come," he called softly.
Just like it had been when he called upon Seiya's sword, the staff never budged. The demon withdrew his hand, letting it fall gracefully at his side.
