[Please confirm: are you selecting Thyvarun as <The Chosen One>?]
Without hesitation, Lucas selected "Yes."

A new panel appeared this time. Destiny Path? Symbolism?
[Destiny Path]
The Hero (A savior of the weak)
The Seeker (An explorer of forbidden possibilities)
The Catalyst (A bringer of radical change)
The Conqueror (One who dominates and subjugates)
Complete specific milestones to unlock additional branches of Destiny Path.
"Wow..." Lucas rubbed his chin thoughtfully.
Considering Thyvarun's sly personality, the [Catalyst] or [Conqueror] paths seemed fitting.
But wouldn't it be ironic if a villain's power was based on saving others?
"Wait, this is a base power, isn't it?"
[The acquired power will be categorized as Divine Power]
[Destiny Path reflects its name—it determines the trajectory of candidate's fate]
[If you select Thyvarun as The Hero, the events in Antroseda will naturally align to make it so]
[One such adjustment... is creating a common enemy]
Lucas frowned. He still didn't fully understand but decided to move forward.
Next was Symbolism.
[Symbolism]

If this is true to its name, it must be some kind of sacred object, right?
Lucas imagined it functioning like an emblem of identity, much like the insignias used by ancient cosmic federations.
If that's the case, I have just the thing.
As expected, the Divine Power panel skipped offering any predefined choices.
This was Lucas's chance to flex his creativity—though storytelling wasn't exactly his strong suit.
The powers he'd created so far were inspired by tales, caricatures, and fragments of humanity's long history of miracles.

It was now the 'woman's turn to act. She rose, bowed respectfully to Lucas, and spoke with a familiar yet more refined voice, devoid of static interference.
"This emissary shall fulfill the noble task with utmost devotion."
Her body glowed as light enveloped her, and in an instant, she vanished—reappearing within the observation panel as a foreign entity.
Even as Thyvarun underwent this spiritual transformation, traces of rationality remained. He questioned the woman's identity.
"...your fate has been altered, and the world's destiny now rests in your hands."
After making this cryptic declaration, the 'woman' disappeared once more, returning to her position in the corner of the room.
Such efficient movement.
Lucas shifted his focus back to Thyvarun, who seemed indifferent to his newfound powers.
He did take the shield with him, but only as a trophy and symbol of pride—a token proving he'd been chosen by much divine being.
While it initially created a sensation, Thyvarun's fame quickly faded as he failed to distinguish himself.
His name was tarnished further when he was accused of endangering the king's authority. Although he managed to avoid punishment using his wit, Thyvarun lost everything: his job, home, wealth, and social status.
The only thing left was the shield Lucas had bestowed upon him, which was worthless even as scrap.
He truly was reckless. Though Lucas had anticipated this outcome.
Reduced to a vagrant, Thyvarun was accosted by bandits. To his surprise, the shield protected him, allowing him to defeat the bandit leader and earn the respect of the gang.
Thyvarun was appointed as their new leader.
This was a relief, at least temporarily. However, Thyvarun had no idea how his newfound power worked or how to use it again.
That's when the first mission arrived.
[Free District 11 from crime]

With no clue what else to do, Thyvarun led his new crew to confront the district's criminal gang.
This time, he relied on his intellect. By spreading misinformation and sowing discord among the syndicates ruling District 11, Thyvarun struck at their leader when the moment was right.
In doing so, Thyvarun gained a deeper understanding of his powers and acquired new allies.
More missions followed, and Thyvarun's strength grew. Though most of his recruits were former criminals, the public began to adore him, especially the lower classes.
Thyvarun's missions always involved protecting the underprivileged rather than instigating major upheavals in the kingdom.
Initially, Thyvarun saw this support as a stepping stone in his grand plan to overthrow the king. But as time passed, he realized the futility of such ambitions, given his forces were too weak to challenge even a fraction of the kingdom's mages.
Unwilling to admit it, Thyvarun began valuing his subordinates as individuals and cherishing their lives.
Meanwhile, Nhaoruk, entrusted with expanding to the east, achieved success through ruthless tactics—capturing and destroying enemy settlements.
This earned Nhaoruk a prestigious promotion to the Royal Guard and eventually the role of Commander-in-Chief, replacing the forcibly retired Kaevhoris.
Nhaoruk's first task as Commander was to quell unrest in the slums.
Initially, Nhaoruk, who shared a similar humble background, refused. The idea of attacking his own people felt inherently wrong.
However, the king convinced him otherwise, labeling the poor as ungrateful rebels whose uprising would cause greater bloodshed. Nhaoruk was also promised complete control over future military campaigns in the east—a long-held dream of his.
"Talk about a silver tongue," Lucas muttered.
Comparing two evils doesn't make one good, but the king certainly justified his cunning.
To gain power, you need strength. But to keep it? You need a sharp mind.
Trapped in a dilemma, Nhaoruk reluctantly carried out his orders.
His well-trained, heavily armed forces attacked the slums, conducting a 'purge.'
But Thyvarun wouldn't stand idly by.
Lucas never thought Thyvarun and Nhaoruk would cross paths. Not this way.
Once proud and sly Thyvarun now face the noble Nhaoruk.
Both had seemingly abandoned their old ambitions to focus on their current roles.
And yet, there they were.
The 'two suns' orbiting Alhamera, standing face to face for the final showdown.
