FALLING FOR THE UNEXPECTED
INSERT 15
Lena's pov
I hesitated, unsure of how to respond to Ntsika's question. What did I truly desire? It was a question I had been avoiding for weeks, ever since I met Ntando and Ntsika.
Ntsika sensed my hesitation and probed deeper. "Lena, I know this isn't an easy question to answer. But I want you to know that I'm here for you, no matter what. You can trust me."
His words touched a chord within me. I felt a sense of safety and security that I hadn't felt in a long time. It was as if Ntsika had created a space for me to be vulnerable, to be myself.
"I don't know, Ntsika," I said finally, my voice barely above a whisper. "I've been feeling so lost lately. I don't know what I want or who I am anymore."
Ntsika's response was immediate. "You are not alone, Lena. We all feel lost sometimes. But the important thing is that you're acknowledging your feelings and seeking help. That takes a lot of courage."
His words were like a balm to my soul. I felt a sense of comfort and reassurance that I hadn't felt in weeks.
"Thank you, Ntsika," I said, my voice filled with gratitude. "Just talking to you makes me feel better."
Ntsika's response was warm and genuine. "I'm always here for you, Lena. You can talk to me anytime."
As we continued talking, I realized that Ntsika was not just a handsome and charming guy - he was also kind, empathetic, and understanding. He had a way of making me feel seen and heard, like I was the only person in the world.
And as I drifted off to sleep that night, I couldn't help but wonder - was Ntsika the one for me?
