FALLING FOR THE UNEXPECTED

As the days went by, Ntsika and I grew closer and closer. We would spend hours talking, laughing, and just enjoying each other's company.

But despite the deep connection we shared, I knew I couldn't avoid reality forever. I was still technically with Ntando, and I needed to make a decision.

One day, as Ntsika and I were walking through the park, he turned to me with a serious expression. "Lena, I need to ask you something," he said.

I felt a sense of trepidation. "What is it?" I replied.

"I want to know what's going on with you and Ntando," he said. "Are you still together?"

I hesitated, unsure of how to answer. But I knew I owed Ntsika the truth. "We're...complicated," I said finally.

Ntsika raised an eyebrow. "Complicated?" he repeated.

I nodded. "We've been together for a long time, but things have been rocky lately. And then I met you..."

Ntsika's expression softened. "And then you met me," he repeated.

I nodded, feeling tears prick at the corners of my eyes. "I don't know what to do, Ntsika. I care about you deeply, but I also don't want to hurt Ntando."

Ntsika pulled me close, his arms wrapping around me. "We'll figure it out together," he said. "But for now, just know that I'm here for you, no matter what."
