Due to excessive darkness and high humidity in the air, a layer of algae had started to grow on the rough walls of the cave.
This magical algae became the main source of food for numerous small monsters which thrived in this place.
A bunch of red-eyed rats let out angry noises once they noticed the bright glow emitted by Dawn's fiery cape.
Swish! Suddenly, the dark space lit up with a string of crimson light that seemed to have cleaved reality into two equal parts. For a moment, the temperature in the cave rose by a few degrees, and the crying red-eyed rats instantly burst into flames and disappeared.
Dawn didn't even glance at his handiwork and continued to move forward with a lost look in his eyes.
"Just +0.1 Soul Power and I will be a fully fledged Silver grade warrior," he muttered with his eyes glowing with fiery passion.
In front of him floated a blue window displaying his stats.

After a year of careful hunting, his Soul Power was very close to reaching the number 10, which was the threshold of a Silver rank Warrior.
This past year, Dawn had lingered in the outer edges of the Nether Wraiths colony and didn't dare to venture deeper as he was afraid of being surrounded by Nether Wraiths from all sides.
His strategy of silently farming allowed him to grow stronger silently. Dawn had a feeling once he broke through to the Silver rank, he wouldn't have to worry about the Nether Wraiths King.
Just a year old and he would be a proud Silver grade warrior.
This was an achievement that was almost impossible to replicate.
Thinking up to this point, his eyes flashed with strange light. It had been days since he last got a skill because of a class achievement.
Suddenly, his heart was filled with anticipation, wondering what skills he would get when he broke through to the Silver rank.
Just as he was thinking, his eyes narrowed. In the ethereal map in his head, he noticed the red dots moving strangely in the distance.
"Perfect timing..." Dawn smacked his lips and hurriedly moved.
...
Two figures quickly moved through the caves like seasoned experts who had spent all their lives in these treacherous bends.
Suddenly, they came to an abrupt halt, fully revealing their appearance: one man and one woman carrying long swords on their backs.
Their eyes flashed with strange light as they looked around, trying to find something.
Judging from their presence, they seemed to be Iron grade warriors.
The man with thin lips and a long beard looked around and said in a low voice, "Red-caped Demon was seen here for the last time."
Hearing his words, the woman nodded solemnly and said, "We must quickly find him!"
In the next moment, both of them started to move once again. However, at this time, the expression of the woman suddenly turned ugly. She quickly moved to the side and shouted, "Be careful!"
Just as these words had left her mouth, the air around the man suddenly morphed into a large Nether Wraith with glowing red eyes like rubies.
Although caught unprepared, the man quickly reacted and brandished his sword and slashed.
"Soul Cleaving Strike! Die, you insolent beast!"
A large one-meter slash filled with magical energies quickly moved towards the Nether Wraith and struck its smoky form, almost causing it to disappear.
"Chants of Mortal Buddha!" The woman also clasped her hands together and loudly yelled. At her words, a strong shockwave filled with mystical power was released in the air, hitting the shaky figure of the poor Nether Wraith, causing it to completely disappear.
The woman stopped and took rapid breaths, with her plump bosom heaving up and down. Even though it looked extremely easy, for this fight, the duo had burst out with their greatest strength in order to end the fight as quickly as possible.
Fighting one was their limit; if they encountered multiple Nether Wraiths at the same time, it would be difficult to handle the situation.
"How dare you, puny livestock, dare to kill us noble beings!" Just at this moment, a furious shout sounded in the cave, followed by the appearance of three Nether Wraiths one after another.
Each looking even more fearsome than the last. Witnessing this scene, the duo who had barely taken a breath felt their expressions stiffen.
The three Nether Wraiths quickly surrounded them with malevolent expressions on their faces, like ghosts, sometimes crying, sometimes laughing.
The woman's heart was suddenly gripped with a strong sense of despair, as her journey was finally going to end before it even began. The man beside her, although he didn't say anything, his attitude was extremely clear by the strong fighting spirit that shone in his eyes.
Suddenly, the woman felt her heart miss a beat. She noticed a small bright dot in the distance quickly moving closer.
Just as she was wondering about the identity of the newcomer, an almost childish voice responded in the cave.
"Didn't your parents tell you not to bite off more than you can chew?"
Dawn casually flew over, not a single bit concerned by the situation, as if everything was within his control.
The figures of the three Nether Wraiths also stiffened. They felt a suffocating pressure envelope their bodies as if suddenly they had encountered their predator.
"Red-caped Demon."
The woman muttered with a lost look in her eyes. She finally found the figure that she was searching for days, but the woman felt no happiness.
"Red-caped Demon, quickly escape! You are not a match for these monsters."
Hearing her words, Dawn almost wanted to laugh out loud; however, he didn't immediately attack but waited for her to finish speaking.
Although the man hadn't said anything, his thoughts were no different than the woman who had just spoken.
