Lilith
She moved the tape up to my breasts as she made an "Oh!" look. She then moved to my waist.
"OK, I got some dresses for you in the back." She grabbed my chin, tilting my head left and right. "You look like you have a cool undertone, so pink with a blue undertone and purple will look best on you." She released my chin, placed her hands on her hips, and looked at Sebastian.
"It's about time you landed a hottie like her. Everyone else you messed around with was built like freaking twigs." She threw her hands up. "None of them fit in the dresses I sell! I have to tailor all of them! It's like they don't know how to be a person!" She turned, grabbing my hand. "Come on, let's go!" She pulled, and I followed reluctantly as I glanced back at Sebastian who was laughing as he turned to head towards the men's section.
"Oh, my goodness! I'm so happy he brought you here!" Eliza grabbed me, guiding me to a small stand. "Don't get me wrong, skinny women are nice. Heck, all body types are awesome, but the women here make it a mission not to be healthy. I don't quite understand it." Eliza shook her head. She was on the smaller side, but she looked healthy. She didn't look like she had skipped meals.
She beamed at me as she ruffled through the closet, pulling out a wonderful pastel purple dress with dark purple embroidery laced around the edges. The chest had a lace peekaboo for the breasts, it also had purple laced gloves. I sucked my teeth as she brought it up to me.
"Here, try it on. It should fit; it's your exact measurements." She grinned at me as I hesitantly took it. I turned and headed to the curtained changing room. I closed the curtain, turned, and worked my way out of my clothing. I stepped into the dress, sliding it over my body. It fit like a glove, accentuating my curves. It flopped open at the top due to it needing to be zipped in the back. It reminded me of my armor, except I felt completely exposed in this.
I turned, holding my chest as I peeked out from the curtain. Eliza walked up to me, using her finger to indicate for me to turn around. I did as she instructed. She grabbed the zipper, pulling it up. I felt the metal glide over my back, tightening the fabric around my chest. She placed her hands on my shoulders, turning me to face her.
"Oh, my goddess!" She stepped back, looking me up and down. She guided me to the mirror. I stood there; my breath caught in my throat.
"You're so beautiful, Lilith," Lilly purred. I felt tears well up in my eyes. I've never seen myself like this before. For once, I didn't notice the tattoos streaking down my face. I tucked a piece of my hair behind my ear as I turned to Eliza.
"I got some heels that'll fit ya. Wait here! I'll be back in a jiffy." She clapped her hands together as she turned and headed out. I turned back to the mirror, running my hands down my sides.
"Hey... I know what you're thinking and stop it." Lilly snarled at me. I shook my head. I couldn't help it; old habits die hard. I started feeling uncomfortable with the way I looked because my mother's voice kept chiming in. I blushed as a flash of Sebastian grabbing my curves while we were intimate flashed through my head.
"You made me do it, now stop!" Lilly giggled. I smacked my forehead as Eliza walked back in.
"Here ya go!" She handed me a pair of pastel purple heels. I took them as I went to sit and slide them on. I stood up, wobbly. These were not like my boots when I was armored up. Eliza grabbed me to help me balance as she laughed.
"You'll get used to em." She patted my back as she handed me the gloves to slip on. Once I was completely dressed, she took my arm and guided me out to the front.
"Oh, Prince Sebastian! Come on out! We need your opinion." She giggled as I stiffened up. I heard a curtain move from the men's section. I saw him step out as he adjusted a dark purple dress shirt and a dark purple waistcoat. I could see him mumbling to himself as he glanced up. He ended up doing a double take. His eyes fixated on me as he stood up straight, flattening out his outfit and then heading towards me.
I felt butterflies in my stomach, as he was so striking to look at. Lilly kept jumping up and down giggling. He strode up to me, halting just in front of us. He looked me up and down. I felt the bite mark on my neck start to radiate heat.
"I take that as a look of approval." Eliza chuckled as she turned to head behind the counter. Sebastian cleared his throat.
"You look absolutely divine, Lilith." He flashed a toothy grin at me as I clasped my neck. I mouthed to him," Stop it" as a laugh escaped my lips.
"I'll ring ya'll up, but you don't need to pay till you come back and pick up the clothing order you placed." Eliza smiled up at us.
"Clothing order?" I raised a brow at her as Sebastian snuck his hand around my waist.
"Oh yes! Sebastian said you need some clothing, so I took your measurements and your order will be ready in about a day!" She threw the tape measurer around her neck as she winked at me.
"Thank you, Eliza." Sebastian tilted his head in a nod as he guided me out the door. The evening air hit my skin. It was comforting, the shop was hot, and Sebastian's lustful thoughts that kept making my mark burn didn't help.
I felt his fingers run up my spine, causing me to halt in place.
"Sebastian..." I whispered out as I gazed up at him. He slipped his hand down, gliding his fingers around my waist, then taking my hand within his.
"Yes, Lilith?" He raised an eyebrow at me as he tugged at my hand to continue forward. I sighed, "Never mind," and followed. He chuckled as we passed Cranston's bookstore. The door was missing as the inside looked like someone ransacked it. I cranked my head as we passed it, curious as to what happened.
We continued forward till we saw a bunch of people standing in front of a restaurant, all dressed nicely. We walked up to the right of the line, a waiter was standing there behind a velvet rope.
"Oh! Prince Sebastian, welcome." The waiter tilted his head in a bow as he gestured for us to come through. He removed the rope for us. The people who were waiting started to protest but then snapped their mouths shut when they had their eyes on Sebastian. I tucked my body close to his as I could feel their stares boring into me.
The restaurant was pristine. The soft lighting made everything look like a fairy tale. The middle of the restaurant had a dancing floor. There several of their diners were dancing on. There was an orchestra located in the back sending out wonderful tunes through their instruments. I tightened my grip on his arm as panic slowly started to cross over me. I don't belong here.
"This way, young sir." A waiter gestured for us to follow him to a table. The world felt like it was moving in slow motion as we walked to our table. I could feel the stares and I wish that I didn't.
Sebastian pulled a chair out for me. I sucked on my lower lip as I took a seat, and he pushed me up to the table. He then went and sat right across from me. The waiter placed menus in front of us.
"May I start you two off with some champagne?" He folded his arm across his midsection as Sebastian nodded. I folded my hands in my lap neatly as the server turned and left.
