Loud beeping noises had filled the cockpit, as if reminding Elias that the situation was more dire than he had initially thought. They didn't even have enough fuel to even slow down their descent. They were truly going to crash.
"Not sure about you, but I might truly die," Elias told the ego, watching the surface getting closer at a frightening speed.
"F*ck. I couldn't even enjoy the freedom properly and I'm going to die. Waaah! Why is my luck so f*cked up?" The ego started complaining, almost sounding like it was crying.
Elias didn't even know how to react to these words. Shouldn't he be the one panicking? The ego was connected to the jet. As long as even the smallest part of it existed, the ego was probably going to survive. He was different. He would be crushed.
