Zesten stepped out of the portal, finding himself not in an isolated space, but in front of a group.

On one side stood a woman who appeared to be a completely ordinary person, without any discernible aura around her. Still, he felt a suffocating sensation when he looked at her.

He didn't recognize the woman, but if anyone else from the Academy were present, they would have instantly recognized her as the Dean of the Academy itself.

On Zesten's other side, there was a man wearing what looked like a white military uniform, with multiple stars on his chest.

Zesten had never left the Land of Fables, so he hadn't met the Academy's Professors. However, his father had described the professors as beings who could kill him with a single movement of their fingers.
