The childhood sweethearts

The air in the "MM Utopia" restaurant was thick with the sweet, almost floral scent of the "Rachet Nectar" the latest interplanetary import as most of the people were trying this. Mukund ordered the drinks and time flowed like water.

As the night wore on, our drinks fizzed with the essence of Rachet, filling the air with an electrifying buzz. I leaned back in his chair, amusement dancing in my eyes as i tossed a playful jab his way. "I swear, if you keep drinking those space sodas like they're water, you'll end up floating in low orbit!"

But have to say that the drinks are really well made they kept their reputation floating with this, But it's just the price of the drink which is off the charts, i could buy 10 normal drinks with this 1 drink, but still this drink's taste worth it all.

Mukund " What do you know man this drink also has a miraculous effect, It help's in loosing weight man i ain't leaving on this best thing which can take me into shape".

"Huh! then why don't you take the newly developed weight loss liquid, it work's 10 times better than this drink".

Mukund " Who will drink that shit, do you think i didn't try it, it was the worst experience in my life, i couldn't eat for a whole 3 days when i got it on my tongue, YUCK! shit you spoiled my mood man how can i drink this now"

Our conversation flowed, a seamless back-and-forth of lighthearted teasing, until i casually looked at the wall which was projecting a news about a concert in BHAGYAM city in 4 days from now, Then i thought about the dream i saw, then asked to mukund " Do you know about This concert"

"Yeah, I've heard. They're pulling out all the stops," He replied, swirling the vibrant liquid in his glass, thoughts wandering in arcs of excitement.

"Should we go, i can help with that, besides i can get my dad's car to travel and we brought a small villa at the

outskirts of BHAGYAM city, it will be fun man" he continued, his smile widening. He paused for a moment before leaning in, eyes glinting with mischief. "Besides, you might even bump into your crush there!"

My heart skipped, and I blinked, confusion shadowing my features. "Crush? What do you mean?"

"Oh come on," Mukund smirked, leaning back casually as if he had just revealed a grand secret. "You seriously didn't know? She's performing!"

The mention struck me like a bolt of lightning, setting my mind reeling. Memories of laughter and our shared childhood floated up—sunlit afternoons, whispers of dreams, and the unmistakable spark that had always been there, simmering beneath layers of friendship. "You're kidding, right?" I stammered, unable to contain the surge of surprise mingled with elation.

"Nope, dead serious!" Mukund grinned, clearly reveling in my reaction. "Think about it—your chance to finally see her in the spotlight, highlighting all the talent you always knew she had. Plus, imagine how epic it would be to tell her you came to see her perform!"

I shook my head in disbelief, echoing his playful humor from earlier But still just imagining about it gives thrill man HEhehe, my smile reaching to the ears, But then thought and said " Where will we get the tickets for concert as you know the security is strict in these concerts and we can't sneak in.

Mukund "You don't worry about it my 2nd uncle is co-sponsor of this event, two tickets is like a flick off his finger's"

"Then it is decided we will go to the concert together"

Mukund raised his glass, an infectious grin lighting up his face. "To concert adventures and memories waiting to be made!"

I clinked my glass against his, the fizzy nectar bubbling over our excitement.

As i thought of the upcoming event – bright lights, electric sounds, and throngs of people dancing. It was going to be a night to remember.

As we finished our drinks, we left the restaurant, our spirits buoyant, and hopped on the X-875 flame series with intention to drive it, i ain't missing this chance. As we navigated the streets of Bhagyam, the city illuminated in pulsating shades of neon, I couldn't shake the memories from my dream. Clarity washed over me—the blurred images of the buildings, the urgency laced within the parchment—it was all linked to something bigger.

As we approached my apartment, I pulled to a stop near the gates. "Alright, back to reality. I'll catch you later, yeah?"

"Sure buddy see-ya" He replied

With a farewell wave, I stepped inside the home, burdened with thoughts of life before my father disappeared, alongside those of the exhilarating concert awaiting. My gaze drifted but my heart felt heavy.

I couldn't shake the feeling that this trip to concert held some of the solutions to my questions and my future. Sophia's presence would only add to it. Then started preparing the simple dishes which i daily make and waited for my mom's arrival and then again thinking of the dream.

As I lost myself in uncertainty, the bell rang suddenly, snapping me back to reality. The moment I stepped out of the door my mom was waiting there looking tired from work, she came inside and got to freshen up to remove the tiredness from work ate the dishes i made and got to sleep

The next days rolled by, with the concert in the forefront of my mind; yet the dream lingered in the background, a puzzle I felt compelled to solve.

The answer seemed tantalizingly close yet slightly out of reach. As the day of the concert finally approached, a storm brewed of anticipation and trepidation within me—whatever awaited in BHAGYAM's bright lights could very well change the course of my life.

The night before the event, I fell into a restless sleep, visions of red skies piercing through the backdrop of dreams once more but this time i dreamed of a dark alley which has nothing in it, then i saw a cat slowly walking out of the alley it's color completely blended into the darkness.
