Chirping birds filled the area, leaves danced in the wind, and the sound of the nearby river filtered through.
Isadora took off the makeshift support, holding her ankle in place, hissing as the pain intensified.
She closed her eyes, took a slow deep breath, and focused on silencing all other sounds.
Earlier she had worked on the wound on her side and closed it up to a decent amount, enough not to be life threatening anymore.
But this? It was going to be difficult. Healing her broken ankle would be more challenging for her but she had to do it, she needed her leg and the pain to stop.
She opened her eyes, inhaling as she moved her hands in slow motions, her fingers pinching together as if she held onto the invincible air until it wasn't invisible anymore, red weaves formed faintly but not as powerful as it was meant to be.
