auxiliary chapter for volume One

Tofu here!

Wanted to make a quick auxiliary chapter to explain a few things to avoid confusion. Being a new author, I find it perhaps difficult to know *when* to include explanations in my novel, so if I miss anything in the actual book, it'll be here! This will be updated as volume one goes on, and when I reach volume two, a new auxiliary chapter will be released.

** IMPORTANT NOTE: Whilst a lot of my work include references to actual real-world faith, it is completely separate and different from said beliefs. I just use similar words because of their actual meaning (And because they 'sound' cool.) -- If I come to the realization that something I include is DIRECTLY 1:1 the same as a religious figure, I'll edit my story accordingly to not hurt anyone. **

Divine Law -- To the normal populace, divine law is only known by its name. It's true meaning or what it actually is, isn't actually known. Though, it's come to the general consensus that it is a set of rules one must follow to not transform into a 'sin', throughout the years humans created new set of rules to add to the divine law.

'Sin' & 'Sin' -- One word, two meaning. A sin is a human that after feeling an incredible amount of one negative emotion will subconsciously make a pact with a devil to transform into a monster. A sin could also mean the actual law part of the divine law. For example, A gambling addict losing everything goes mad and turns into a sin, his transformation would be related to the sin of greed. It's confusing, isn't it? But, in the series it'll mostly be referred to as the actual 'sin' and not just the word. (I.e Shelly looked at Greed -- Or something alike.)

Cain -- The mysterious organization that promised humanity protection by fighting back sins and devils. Somehow, they always manage to defeat threats, at the cost of human lives. In every megacity exists a headquarter where most of the organization's work happen.

A 'megacity' -- If it wasn't obvious yet, the story happens in a city called "New Busan", and obviously that doesn't exist in real life. In the world of :ABEL, exists gigantic cities built specifically to help humans survive attacks. Most of the city is built by artificially created machines whom do the process automatically, meaning that huge parts of the city is always empty, ready for a new batch of people to come in the case of an attack. Each portion of the megacity is called a district. To put in comparison, a megacity would be the size of two Tokyo cities.

Devils -- Devils is one of the races within :ABEL, they know from an unknown world that seems to parallel the human world. Some possess human intellect whilst others are beasts without reason. They come in many different forms, but usually have traits taken straight from human myths. Elf ears, demon horns, half-humans, fangs...etc.

That should be it. Questions? Feel free to ask in the comments!
