"“Serena, you are hereby exiled from the Silverstone Pack. You will remain exiled until the day you draw your last breath.”
Serena, a Healer exiled from her pack for a crime she did not commit, accused of murdering her mate, the Pack Beta. The evidence against her was damning, warranting the harshest punishment: death.
However, an oath between her father and the Alpha of her pack spared her life. Instead, she was cast into the wilderness, cursed to live as a rogue until the day she dies.
Life as a rogue was treacherous, seeing the next sunrise was never promised. One fateful day, Serena stumbled upon injured strangers and saved their lives. In return for her kindness, she was granted asylum in Ironshade, the strongest Western Pack.
Haunted by the loss of her first mate, Serena is determined to live in secrecy, until she discovers she has yet another fated mate. Her new mate is none other than Darius, the stoic Alpha of Ironshade burdened by the dark legacy of his father.
The Ironshade Pack is on the brink of collapse, plagued by a mysterious curse. Serena’s arrival may hold the key to its salvation...or its ruin.
As tensions rise, Serena and Darius find themselves drawn together with an undeniable bond. Together, they must confront buried secrets, face their deepest fears, and decide if their second chance at love is worth risking everything.
"When the shadow of the Thorn bleeds into the light, And the wolf who carries death finds her second life, The moon will bless the broken bond, And the cursed will find peace at dawn."
the writing style is so good. you can feel all the emotions. 😭😭 I hope to see more of Darius. 🌝 keep it up, author .
New idea I haven't read before in werewolf world... a murder mystery. But the mystery and past isn't the focal point of the story it's the lead Serena and her future journey. Serena, who seems reserved and close off lead, had a tragic fate. I would really like to read more about her past story with Cullen, and how her previous life was to really understand and know more of her. And see her avenge her Mate husband's death. There a lot to look forward in this... hoping to read more. Happy writing, Author!
This story is a work of art its brilliantly written and as the plot thickens, it will hook you in and keep you guessing. Amazing writer, keep it up!!
From the writing style alone, this is very well-suited for the romance genre that female readers are looking for! It's giving traditional novels vibe, which I mean is that words are carefully chosen, ensuring that the prose is smooth and flowy. I don't know the author personally, but I can tell that they are very particular of their writing. Keep going! Xoxo
I love how you built your world, where I feel like you added just the right amount of information to describe it without overdoing it. The first chapter instantly will hook you to keep reading for more as it starts off leaving you with many questions. Not a lot of books that I have read starts like that. The characters are fleshed out and pacing is nice. Overall, great job author! Will be supporting this series!
This is my first time reading something like this. I enjoyed these first few chapters. Your writing is really detailed and I hope to see more!
I don't normally read novels like this but it was a breath of fresh air for sure; The characters, the Pacing, the Show don't tell nature of the writing is all top level stuff and the story and world are slowly expanding and getting better with each chapter. The mystery of who to trust, not to trust is gripping for sure. Good job author, I can't wait to see you soar higher!
this a very well written romance book, the chemistry between main characters is palpable. <3 <3 <3 <3 will wait patiently for more chapters.
Fun story so far, I'm intrigued to see where all of the characters fit in. I can tell there will be many great moments of interplay with the cast, and lots of mysteries to uncover...definitely worth a read! Interested to learn more about the curse...and I wonder if the killer will strike again... Congrats to author on the contract! :D
This story is shaping up to be quite good. There's intrigue, strained family dynamics, and the potential for extraordinary violence. There's definitely some Fantasy of Manners worked into this, genre-wise, and if things keep going as they are, I imagine there's going to be a great deal of intricacy to the plot. The writing is well done, though for ease of reading I'd recommend splitting paragraphs a bit more often. Serena comes across more as an exile than a rogue - the latter has connotations of robbery and being an intentional outsider to moral and societal norms. I understand the specific use but in common terms, it does indicate she would be more prone to violence than she is as of Chapter 13. These are small issues, however. Overall, a great read so far, and I look forward to more!
