"Urgh..." Talk about a headache... But that was currently the least of my problems.
"What the?! W-Where am I?" I looked around me, but I saw something at the corner of my eye. Human like arms and legs... Moving like how I was supposed to be moving. And, it didn't take long for me to register what was happening.
I've changed?... My skin, my... Hair, I actually had it now... It's all different!
Vdoom~
I turned to the side, seeing multiple people walking closer towards me, I easily made out that they were Saiyans. The tails, coupled with the extremely muscular builds were practically a dead giveaway.
I had to play this smart... I don't know anything at the moment since I was swallowed by those damned tentacles, but there was one thing I knew for certain.
I was much, much stronger than I remembered.

"So, the anomaly decided to wake up?" The taller out of the two Saiyans spoke, the smaller one beside him looked very familiar to me.
"So this is that Saiyan Rei and her companion found? Looks rather intriguing, yet equally pathetic to me."
Huh? I know that voice. That's Vegeta! No wonder he had looked so familiar, but who's the one beside him? No, I can't deal with that now, I need to play it cool and play my cards right...
"-Who... Who are you people?" I needed to sound as lost and confused as possible here, "Where even am I?" My voice sounds much deeper now, a nice and welcomed change.
"I am the Saiyan king, Talmos... And this." He pointed at the shorter one, "This is my son, prince Vegeta the V."
Talmos? Who the hell is Talmos? I've never heard of that name in the original story before? Just how much of a deviated universe am I in? Still, they didn't seem all that arrogant, but they definitely had that air around them...
"Ok... My name is, Michael..." I made sure to make my tone was as uncertain as possible. He looked at me with what I could only assume to be curiosity...
"That, is a strange name... Mi-e-chael." The king said.
"Now... Do you mind if we ask you some questions?"
I could tell that this man isn't the type to take no for answers... His tone switched to one of slight authority. Which meant that I ultimately had no real choice in the matter... Just my damn luck.
"I'll try to answer them as best as I can..."
"Good... Now, where did you come from?"
I paused, buying myself a few seconds to think for a moment. My mind was racing right now, but I couldn't let it show. Every word I said had to make sense—or at least enough for them to believe me. Underestimating them could be a fatal mistake on my part.
"I don't know," I said, shaking my head slowly. "I... I woke up here... There was this light—golden, I think—and then... I was just there." I shrugged, trying to sell the confusion as much as I humanly could. "I don't remember much before that..."
Talmos studied me carefully, his already sharp eyes narrowing. His presence was overwhelming, even when he wasn't speaking, and I could feel the weight of his authority pressing down on me.
"You expect us to believe that?" Vegeta said, stepping forward with a scowl. His voice was sharp, laced with skepticism. "You're telling us you just appeared out of nowhere? No memory, no idea how you even got here?"
I met his gaze, forcing myself to stay calm. "Yeah, that's what I'm telling you. Look, I don't know how else to explain it. One moment I was... sleeping, and the next, I'm here. That's all I've got."
The king tilted his head slightly, his expression unreadable. "Convenient..." he said, his voice now slightly lower, "And yet, your power suggests otherwise."
My stomach dropped, but I kept my face neutral. I had expected as much. If they didn't scan my power level, that would have been even stranger... But... Of course they had—they were Saiyans. Still, I couldn't let them know just how strong I really felt, so I'll play it a bit passive.
"I don't know what you mean," I responded calmly.
Talmos raised an eyebrow, his lips curving into a faint smirk. "Don't insult me, Mi-e-chael," he said, dragging out my name in that strange accent... "Even in your weakened state, your energy is quite exceptional. The question is, how did someone like you end up with it?"
I swallowed hard. "I don't know," I said again, forcing a slight tremble into my voice. "Whatever happened in that cave I was in—it must've done something to me. Changed me."
Talmos exchanged a glance with Vegeta, who still looked like he didn't trust me... Not that I could blame him. That's just how he was by nature.
"And what are you?" Talmos asked after a moment. "You don't seem like one of us, at least not entirely..." He walked towards me, to now encircling me...
Saiyans don't have that kind of hair... Your eyes, even those red markings on your body that seems strangely mechanical in nature. And, your eyes... I've never seen a Saiyan's eyes with that kind of color... I'm wondering if you're some sort of hybrid." He stopped in his tracks, staring me down...
I hesitated a little at that. "I-I don't know what I am..." I admitted, and for once, I wasn't lying, not entirely. "I just... woke up like this."
The king nodded slowly, as if considering something. "Interesting." He crossed his arms, his gaze never leaving mine. "If what you're saying is true, then you're a mystery worth unraveling. For now, you'll come with us."
I stiffened. "What? Where?"
"To the palace," Talmos said simply. "You'll be our guest until we decide what to do with you."
Guest. Right. Somehow, I doubted I'd get the royal treatment.
Before I could argue, Vegeta stepped closer, his expression dark. "And don't try anything foolish... If you're lying to us." His eyes narrowed just like his father's, "You won't live long enough to regret it." As soon as he said so, he walked off...
A threat? Great. Just my luck. I slowly nodded, keeping my tone as neutral as I could. "Understood." Though, I feel like I should've felt even an inkling of fear. But, I was strangely excited. It's as if the part of my mind that's supposed to react that way has been completely rewired.
Hmph; Interesting... This must be what him and Goku felt like all those times... I can relate, somewhat.
Talmos on the other hand, gave a satisfied nod and turned to leave, Vegeta following closely behind. I trailed after them, pondering my current situation. I didn't know where this was heading, but one thing was clear—if I wanted to survive, I'd definitely have to stay one step ahead of them.
Though, I need to confirm something. So I focused onto both of them... But before that, I mentally
