Conquering the Stars with the Undead

Humanity is at war.



Beset on all sides, their empire is standing only through the combined forces of technology and magic. Massive mechs were constructed, the fabled Colossus Machines, designed to defend the world's, and the Mages were rallied, bringing forth elemental destruction.



Despite their efforts, it wasn't nearly enough. Conscription had to be introduced, forcing all men they could find to earn magical abilities and be sent to the front.



Charon was one of them. An orphan from Earth, he was sent into a trial to fight for his powers, earning the gaze of the God of Death. Judged to be worthy, he was granted a rare and reviled aspect.



Gifted the ability to use souls as gateways, he summons forth creatures from dark realms. Undead monsters, hateful revenants, and blood sucking vampires all fill the ranks of the dark hordes, all waiting for him to call out.



With great armies at his back, Charon will turn against the Human Empire, declaring his conquests against the men who tried to chain him. The Colossus Machines will stand against him, facing his magic with mechanical precision.



Planets must be claimed, their populations subjugated and converted to new faiths to grow the power of the gods.



The other churches, however, will not sit idly by as Charon rises...
