Titan Mech Tactics

Shu stood at the edge of the field, one hand behind his back. Opposite him were five imposing Titan mechs, radiating menace.

A single person looked so tiny compared to these five machines.

Yet, no one present thought the five mechs had much chance of winning.

Because standing before the mechs was Shu—the same Shu who, under everyone's watchful eyes, had demolished a building with a single punch and reshaped the terrain, carving out a great canyon with one sword strike.

Therefore, it wasn't the seemingly weaker party who was on high alert, but the five Titan mechs!

"Whoa..." Kiana's eyes sparkled as she gazed at Shu's back, his hands clasped behind him. "That's so cool!!"

"Engage with Tactical Plan Four!" Himeko's voice echoed in the internal channel of the five Titan mechs. The next moment, the fiery red mech was the first to draw its laser sword, charging towards Shu with large strides.

Yet Shu remained motionless, simply watching Himeko's Titan mech rapidly approach.

He was fully capable of crushing that Titan mech into a sheet of alloy steel the instant Himeko moved, even guaranteeing Himeko inside wouldn't be harmed in the slightest.

But there was no need for that.

This was supposed to be a spar, not a steamrolling.

The fiery red Titan mech charged right up to Shu, the seven-meter-tall steel body exuding immense pressure.

Compared to Shu, Himeko's side had absolutely no need to hold back. Their current mission was to utilize every weapon mounted on their bodies to the absolute limit.

A bright, blinding laser sword swung down towards Shu's head. In the distance, a projectile, almost as thick as an adult's wrist, was fired silently, aiming for a spot near Shu.

Seems like aiming directly at me is still a bit too difficult for them…

Shu smiled helplessly, looking up at Himeko's merciless strike.

Hmm... there's another one not holding back...

Shu kept one foot planted, slightly lifting the other. With a graceful turn, he casually caught the "bullet" as it passed by him.

The laser sword struck the alloy floor, showering sparks. Shu stood amidst the sparks, watching Himeko冲 past due to inertia, looking somewhat curiously at his other hand which had grabbed empty air.

"Huh? What was that just now?" Kiana stretched her eyelids wide with both hands, determined to commit every detail to memory.

The result was that the sparks from Himeko's laser sword flashed her eyes, and she was now squatting at Mei's feet, howling and rubbing her eyes.

But Kiana still saw the details. After a couple of howls, she looked towards the only mech pilot among them.

Bronya: "..." So you remember me now?

"That was the Titan mech's secondary thrust maneuver. It's an explosive displacement technique used when a Titan mech's close-range attack misses, creating an opening," Bronya rolled her eyes, then consciously took on the role of commentator.

"Oh, oh! I know!" Kiana was genuinely talented in this aspect; she understood as soon as Bronya explained. "It's like when you miss, you suddenly dash forward to ram someone, right?"

But here it's used to rapidly dodge my own attack? Shu watched Himeko make a sharp turn, then reached out and caught another "bullet" passing by, clicking his tongue in amazement.

He had originally intended to make Himeko's Titan mech short-circuit and stop functioning, adding the prerequisite of "touching" it for balance.

He really hadn't expected Himeko to pull off such a move.

After all, he hadn't truly fought against Titan mechs before, and he hadn't observed closely enough during battles with Honkai Beasts.

Placing the two large projectiles on the ground, Shu surprisingly remained standing in the same spot, the foot acting as his axis never leaving its place.

Even after this first wave of attacks, he still maintained the posture of having one hand behind his back.

Suddenly, intense flames erupted from the back of the Titan mech. The massive body actually lifted off the ground in an instant.

Shu's eyes gradually brightened. The somewhat bulky body of the Titan mech, under Himeko's control, was actually charging towards him again in a low-altitude flight state.

How difficult was this maneuver? Shu wasn't entirely sure, but judging from the fact that the other two Titan mechs were running on foot to coordinate their attack, it was definitely a technique with a high difficulty coefficient.

"It's the Triangular Kill Formation," Bronya watched the three mechs charge at Shu from three directions, her expression becoming serious. "This is a pincer formation used by small military units in battle, designed to quickly eliminate isolated enemy units."

"Is it strong?" Kiana was concerned about this. She now felt that not only Shu, but the fiery red Titan mech flying with "flaming wings" was also incredibly cool!

"Very strong..." Bronya nodded. "It's a pincer attack with no blind spots, covering all space around the target except directly beneath their feet."

A proper execution of this attack should probably involve all attackers charging in like Himeko... Shu looked at Himeko's rapidly approaching Titan mech, then glanced at the other two.

To ensure they arrived simultaneously, Himeko had even deliberately flown further out for a moment.

So I really am just a training dummy, huh…

Shu smiled helplessly, then looked up at another Titan mech falling vertically towards him from directly above.

Now that's a complete triangular formation. Even if it wasn't Shu here, but another Titan mech with a super pilot, facing such a kill formation would mean taking at least a couple of solid hits.

Two fists can't block four hands, after all! Attacks from four directions compressed the enemy's dodging space significantly, making hits almost guaranteed. Two hands could only block attacks from two directions.

The silent "bullet" came again. This was the most complete Triangular Kill Formation.

The hidden sniper forces the enemy's position, while the remaining four complete the encirclement.

Anyone else would have fallen for it, but unfortunately, this was Shu.

Catching the "bullet" for the third time, Shu's foot remained planted. He held the projectile as if grasping the hilt of a sword.

Shu reversed his grip on the "bullet" and gently released it towards the ground.

The moment Shu let go, Himeko's flight speed suddenly increased dramatically. She was no longer waiting for the two rookies who could only run.

The triangular formation was broken, but before the projectile hit the ground, the tip of Himeko's laser sword, wreathed in flames, arrived right in front of Shu.

The fifty-meter distance between them was crossed in less than half a second.

Then... Shu raised his hand and pressed down on the tip of the laser sword.

In an instant, blinding light erupted, engulfing Shu's figure.
