I Wanna be a Wizard II

Within the world that George, William, Benthony, and Marie were all in, much time had passed. They all seemed exhausted beyond belief as they panted for breath, well all besides that of William. William seemed fine as could be despite them going all through the same grueling tasks just showing how real experience would be the only way to progress as far as he had. All three of them now stood at the exit with the three wiping the sweat from their bodies. Marie and Benthony looked at each other and then raised their hands in the air as they slapped them together and screamed out wooing with exasperation as they finally accomplished their conquests, and they felt so much… better! Marie would turn her head to the side as a smirk appeared on her face, she would think of the boys that bullied her at school, if she saw them again, then she could definitely get them back.

"Are you serious, after all that time we could only learn one little trick?" George would look at William questioningly, although he wasn't really all up for it at first, now that all this had passed he was actually somewhat interested with magic, but of course far more than he could try to be the kids were 1000 fold. It seemed as if something about them made them have a naturally greater knack for it than he ever could.

"Worry not my friend George, you need only wait till you complete these challenges to become officially a part of MIB. I really should not have taught you a single spell, but I decided to be generous. And as I told you before, magic is forged with mind, body, and will. If you did not have those first then it would be hard to teach you anything." Though when spoke the word mind towards George he sort of looked to the side and sucked in air as his face slightly cringed, it was a slight knock at him which George noticed and just slightly furrowed his eyebrows at.

William would clap his hands to get the kids attention as he stepped his way through the portal and would quickly be followed by them, staring back out at the expanse it seemed as if almost nothing had changed as they looked around. William would then continue to speak.

"So I got you out of there now, as this year's recruit program is today, so we'll be having to get you all off there if you truly want to do anything. Hopefully you'll pass, but if you don't you're welcome to stay but you can't help."

George would grip one of his hands into a fist and looked down at it, he stared off at the ring that glistened on his finger and back up towards William

"You said body and will right? Well I certainly think I have that." George would say with some reassurance of himself.

Marie would whisper into Benthony's ear.

"Did you hear that Ben, dad was just so cool! We have to say something cool too for the moment, come on bro."

Benthony would seem to laugh silently and would suddenly clear his throat, and Marie would once more turn forward away from them as they would both go on to speak.

"I can feel victory in our future.." Benthony would say slowly as he tried to put on a deep voice

"And fate shall ensure it!" Marie would finish off.

George would chuckle looking back at them as a grin would come right back on his face, for one thing that these kids certainly knew how to do, it was to make him smile at any time from their little antics, it was something that could help keep him together at any time. He would bend down and ruffle their hair and give an assuring thumbs up.

"If you say so kiddos." George would then stand right back up and turn towards Willaim and whisper in his ear with a bit of a worried look on his face now. "So are you sure that five year olds can safely take this?" William would put his hand out with a flat palm and shake it from side to side. "Ehh, they should be fine. They're tough kids."

Suddenly, we skipped off to the beginning of the MIB registration course, they stood in a place that literally looked like hell. They were surrounded by other trainees that were looking at a spot for actual registration themselves. George's head would whip over towards William with his mouth wide open. He would suddenly speak out to him in a sort of silent exasperation.

"You told me that this was probably safe from them, and this looks like hell!"

William would exhale out a puff of air as he looked off to the side of him and then turned back towards George keeping his usual seemingly straight and staunch demeanor. 

"Now I know this may look quite bad, but trust me here we make sure nobody gets really hurt, we're not like the bad part of the government or something. Precautions are in place so worry not. If something happens they'll be taken out."

George would have a final thought that he didn't even think of before somehow which concerned him actually more.

"Is this even actually legal, I mean it doesn't seem like-"

William would put a finger up towards the lips of George for him to silence himself.

"Worry not George, for we are the law. And by that proxy, it is legal now, we can say this is legal now."

George would look now mysteriously towards William, they could really just do that? If it. was true there was a darker thought that might have lined his mind. So there were a bunch of people with magic here that could do whatever they wanted, only balanced by themselves. He would interplay gasp as a thought that he hoped wasn't true appeared within, but for now it was simply shaken away and he would focus on the event that would soon come.

Looking on, there was what appeared to be an obstacle course that expanded off towards a vast distance with the end not clear in sight, a short countdown would now begin to start. 3..2..1.. go. And then the gates for the course would open now there was a time limit for them to pass it and they had to hopefully not be eliminated in the middle of it either, hopefully in a nonliteral way.

Suddenly lasers had appeared rapidly moving across the area threatening anyone that got near them, there were so many of them that it would be incredibly hard to maneuver out of the way of them all, and mostly for George being a whole adult.

William would wave away at them and left them off to go complete this as he could he of no further aid to them as it would be unfair to the operation. 

"Alright kids stay with m-"

George would be about to tell his kids but they had already gone on being able to use their limber bodies and small size to easily run around and jump around the lasers ducking and diving like they were proper spies or something akin to that. They were really so astounding it could almost make George shed a tear.. well only if they listened to him. George quickly ran over to follow them with an utmost urgency. He would almost immediately get hit by a laser which he oddly jumped out of the way as if by pure reaction, all of his movements through it seeming far more awkward than the children, but he was luckily able to get through them. He could barely catch sight of their his kids and they were already about at the end of the next one though he couldn't see what it was. 

George started running quickly after him trying to not break a sweat, because as said this place literally looked like hell as there was fire and flames that were everywhere that heated up the area to an utmost heightened extent. And it would only become worse when he went further.. as he found out what the next obstacle was, this obstacle was lava that shot up from the ground in a powerful geyser fashion as a whole powerful jet that reached all the way up seemingly infinitely. George would seemingly perform a dance as he maneuvered through the area, but at the same time he was seeming to adapt more and more to take this on easier. He almost got scorched several times as his clothes were scorched! But luckily his skin was not, he was just bumped around a bit by the geysers, this was due to that one spell they learned.

The one spell that they had learned was the free capability to control pure magical force, with the simple pure control of this magical force they could shape it and change it into anyway that they had actually liked, though there was no real special property of it besides the strength of one who made it. 

George made it through with a growing ease. At the end of the geysers.. there seemed to be nothing else. There was only the end of a cliff that led into lava left, there were several other people stopped around there confused just as he and the kids were that stood with him now once more, that being until Marie would mumble something as she had an idea.

"Papa, brother. We gotta jump into the lava!"

"You finally gone crazy sis?!" Benthony would suddenly say confused

"Honey, I don't think that's what we're supposed to do." George would say worriedly

Marie would suddenly slam her foot against the ground and pouted with her hands on her hips.*

"You guys never listen to me! Just trust me, it's a test in itself. Nobody would go and willingly jump in lava, it's a test of your will and thought you see. There's nowhere else to go but into danger.. and we must persevere."

Marie would say as she adjusted her nonexistent glasses, she had a sudden burst of intelligence within her mind. 

"Nerddd, that's why you always get good grades in class." Benthony would say in a playful manner

Marie would just look at him and blinked unamused. On the other hand George would be caught up within his thoughts, though in the end he concluded Marie was likely right, and they said they wouldn't let them get hurt, the other people probably just forgot that in the moment.

"Alright we're gonna go, shield yourself with magic just in case.. go after me."

George would say just in case anything went wrong as he jumped right into the lava, there was little to no hesitation within his mind only hoping that everything ended up alright, and if something didn't happen.. it wouldn't be them and only him.
