To be honest, although Ryen was chatting with Albedo just now, his eyes had been on Klee the whole time.
Ever since he came in, the little one had been looking at him expectantly, which naturally piqued his curiosity.
Naturally, Ryen also noticed Klee sneaking over cautiously, occasionally glancing at Jean.
That adorable expression truly stirred one's heart with affection.
It wasn't until Klee asked her innocent question that Ryen suddenly understood.
Most likely, Lisa had told Klee that once she went to the Minecraft world, she could throw bombs as much as she wanted.
To Klee, this was world-shakingly good news.
"Klee!"
Jean looked a bit embarrassed and put on a stern face:
"Ryen is discussing serious matters with Albedo. Don't interrupt!"
Ryen waved his hand and gently rubbed Klee's head.
With the little loli head-patting techniques he had refined from dealing with Nahida and Paimon, Klee squinted with joy immediately.
"That's right," Ryen said with a smile.
"Once you're in that world, Klee can blow up whatever she wants, as long as she doesn't hurt the people of Teyvat, anything else is fair game."
"Yayyy!"
Klee jumped up in joy, immediately hugging Ryen's leg, pure and sweet as she said:
"Brother Ryen is a good person!"
Ryen chuckled in amusement.
That was basically Klee's highest level of praise.
"It's getting late today. Tomorrow, how about I take you to blow up some fish?"
Klee nodded obediently, stretching out her little hand and looking at Ryen with hopeful eyes.
"Pinky promise with Brother Ryen! You said it yourself! You'll take Klee to blow up fish!"
Ryen nodded, hooking his pinky with hers.
"I promised to let Klee blow up fish. I won't go back on it."
Ganyu and Hu Tao exchanged a glance.
Even though they knew Ryen had a fondness for little girls, seeing it in action now, they realized they had underestimated his obsession with "raising daughters."
After Klee joined in, Ryen held Klee and Nahida on either side, with Paimon sitting on his shoulder.
He truly looked like the King of Lolis.
This even made the two legitimate "wives" a little jealous.
+1 to precious daughters.
Ryen was beyond content—he couldn't stop smiling.
Looking up at Albedo, he said:
"I'll explain the details tomorrow when we enter the other world. The materials are all ready."
"As for the alchemical potions, we'll prepare all sorts for you before we leave today—you can take a look at them first."
"As for enchantments, weapons, and so on—we can't help you much in terms of alchemy, so you'll have to research those yourself."
"If you need anything like an alchemy workshop, feel free to request it. Liyue will arrange for one to be built."
Albedo nodded and didn't press further about the types of potions.
He still didn't fully understand things yet, and would need time to get familiar with that world before making decisions.
But for now, he felt that just the potions alone would be enough for him to research for a long time.
With the main business finished, Jean eagerly asked Ryen about developments in the Minecraft world during this time.
Ryen didn't keep secrets and gave a simple summary, which left Jean somewhat emotional.
It had only been a bit more than half a month since she left, and the Minecraft world had progressed rapidly.
It felt almost like stepping into another era.
But since it was already late and everyone had traveled all day, there was no need to rush into anything tonight.
They chatted casually about amusing things, and the atmosphere turned quite warm and harmonious.
Albedo, through their conversation, also gradually became more familiar with the other world.
Meanwhile, Nahida was starting to feel a bit jealous of Ryen's new daughter, Klee.
Although she always resisted being treated as Ryen's pampered "little sister," harboring ambitions to surpass even Ganyu—
She didn't want to give up that special attention from Ryen either.
She was already upset enough today from Hu Tao's sudden move, and now Klee had come and threatened her No.1 "princess sister" position?
Nahida's sense of crisis was escalating rapidly.
Still, after spending some time getting to know Klee, she quickly started playing with her.
Compared to herself—a 500-year-old Archon in the form of a loli but with the mind of an adult—
Klee was a genuine, bonafide child.
Pure, cute, innocent—she simply viewed Ryen as a reliable big brother who let her throw bombs freely.
This, Nahida could just barely accept.
In no time, the two little girls plus Paimon were chatting and giggling together like longtime friends.
Ryen let them be, and turned to pull Ganyu and Hu Tao into his arms.
There's an art to raising daughters.
You can't focus only on your daughters and forget about your wives.
Otherwise, the wives will get jealous.
Just as they were happily chatting, Bai Xiao suddenly walked quickly to Ningguang's side and whispered something to her.
Ningguang frowned slightly, then chuckled as if she had heard something amusing.
"I see. No need to bother with her," Ningguang waved her hand, and Bai Xiao nodded and withdrew.
With a hint of amusement in her eyes, Ningguang said softly:
"Ryen, your little courtyard is really attractive. This afternoon, that lady who arrived in Liyue just a few days ago went and found trouble for herself."
"Bai Xiao reported that she was ambushed by the Qianyan Army, completely caught off guard, and then got taught a lesson by the Adepti. She seems to have been pretty seriously injured."
Hearing this, Jean's expression shifted, frowning slightly.
"The Lady? She came to Liyue?"
She paused and looked at Ningguang seriously.
"Ningguang, that woman is different from Childe who was previously stationed at Liyue Harbor. She's arrogant and aggressive. She—"
Jean was simply worried that with Rosalyne's temperament, she'd cause some serious problems in Liyue.
But Ningguang didn't care at all. She waved her hand and said:
"No need to worry about her. With the Eye of Heaven system, every move the Fatui makes is under our watch."
"Besides, even if that woman is arrogant, this is Liyue Harbor—there's no room for her arrogance here."
"That woman got properly thrashed by the Adepti today."
Ryen pondered for a moment, then asked softly:
"Only the Adepti and the Qianyan Army took action?"
Ningguang nodded.
"Three Adepti and hundreds of Qianyan soldiers besieged her. That woman still managed to escape. Though the Adepti didn't go all out, it shows she's got some skills."
What Ryen was concerned about wasn't that.
The double-portal gate had been open the entire time today, with Zhongli guarding it from the other side.
If Rosalyne had actually made it to the courtyard and seen anything she shouldn't have, it wouldn't have been the Adepti who took action—
They'd probably be seeing a Planet Befall on the spot.
But apparently, Rosalyne didn't even make it to the gate before getting dealt with.
Honestly, that was probably the best outcome for her.
As the Ice Archon's most loyal follower, Rosalyne was one of the rare Fatui who actually got things done.
Hearing Ningguang's confident response, Jean could only smile bitterly.
When Rosalyne caused trouble in Mondstadt, they were helpless—poor Lisa had to drag her sickly body to hold the line...
Instead, in Liyue, they didn't even care—just casually beat her back.
In the end, it all came down to the vast difference in power and foundation.
"Oh right! There's one more thing!"
Lumine suddenly raised her hand and, under everyone's attention, softly said:
"This afternoon, Tartaglia came to find me."
Hearing that, both Ningguang and Jean furrowed their brows.
"What did he want from you?"
Lumine shook her head, looking confused.
"That guy was pretty strange. He came straight up and introduced himself openly as an Executive. Seems very different from the other Fatui Harbingers."
"He said he just wanted to make an impression. Then... he mentioned that if there's ever a chance, he'd like to spar with me."
"Tsk… what a weird guy. Are all the Fatui Executives this strange?"
Jean turned her head to look at Ningguang, who pondered for a moment before replying softly:
"Liyue's changes can't be hidden from everyone—and we didn't intend to hide them either. Most likely, it was because Lumine had been coming and going from Ryen's place that caught Tartaglia's attention."
"He's trying to use Lumine as an entry point to understand what's going on with Ryen."
"But at least today, it seems like Childe just wanted to get acquainted with you."
"Looks like the intel was off—this Childe isn't just a mindless battle maniac."
"But whatever."
Ningguang waved her hand dismissively and looked at Lumine.
"No need to worry about him. He won't dare to do anything in Liyue Harbor. Just let things take their natural course."
And with that, the matter of the Fatui was brushed off casually.
To Ningguang and the others, the Fatui weren't even worth getting nervous over—unless more Harbingers showed up.
After that, the group didn't bring up much else. With the Rite of Descension about to begin, Ningguang also casually invited Jean and the others to attend the ceremony.
Chances were, she wanted to use this high-profile event—watched not only by all of Liyue but now even by all of Teyvat—to officially announce their alliance with Mondstadt.
While all was peaceful atop the Jade Chamber…
Far away in Inazuma, the atmosphere was tense and grim.
Under a torrential downpour, Beidou's Alcor stood firmly docked just outside the Ritou harbor.
Beidou stood at the dock, silently gazing at the dark, stormy sea.
Beside her stood a man wrapped tightly in a black hooded cloak. He was not tall, but judging by his aura, he was a powerful Vision bearer.
"Big Sister Beidou, doing things so openly... is this really okay?"
Though the black hood concealed his face, Beidou could still sense his nervousness.
Slapping him heartily on the shoulder, Beidou gave a carefree chuckle.
"No problem. This is Liyue's Alcor. Do you think those 3.3-brain-fat guys corrupted by Mora would dare make a move against me?"
Hearing that, the man gave a bitter smile.
Beidou sounded bold—but she did have the strength to back it up.
Liyue was already terrifyingly strong before. And now?
He'd been staying in Liyue for a while now—he knew just how powerful it had become.
Not even mentioning the Adepti or the Geo Archon—just those mysteriously enhanced Qianyan Army soldiers alone could probably sweep through Inazuma… as long as the Raiden Shogun didn't intervene.
It was complete dimensional suppression.
"But… we're planning to take Kamisato away..."
"Hey!"
Beidou glared at him.
"Kazuha, why are you being so timid? I'm the captain of the Alcor! If I think it's fine, what are you worrying about?"
"If someone tries to stop us, we'll fight! Let's see if they really dare to lay a finger on me! Remember, once you're on the Alcor, you're a crew member of Liyue!"
"From now on, Liyue's backing you! So act like it!"
Beidou clicked her tongue in annoyance.
"Can't believe you're a Vision wielder—you've got less guts than a ginkgo nut!"
Hearing her scolding, Kaedehara Kazuha looked a bit embarrassed.
Just as he was about to say something, a cloaked figure emerged from the darkness nearby.
Beidou raised an eyebrow and grinned.
"Here they come."
