Syd Vs. Rogue Mechanoids
Bullet rained down upon the years-old abandoned vehicle in which Syd put into use as a shield to avoid being injured by the overflowing sea of bullets. The Rogue Mechanoids became more aggressive after Syd sneak attack that took down two of their members with only a single Explosive Bullet.
The rest of the team fired every bullet fired at Syd were 70-80% hitting a particular spot as the Rogue Mechanoids made use of their innate ability, [Thermal Vision].
If not for the fact that Syd's ambush against the Rogue Mechanoids was successful, he was sure that he'd have run out of bullets. Luckily for him, the drops of the two Rogue Mechanoids were of great importance if he used them correctly.

"It's now or never..." Syd took in deep breaths before visualizing one of the two flashbang appearing in his hands.
Shing!
Amidst the uncoordinated firing of bullets, Syd throw the flashbang towards the group of Rogue Mechanoids. Upon contact with the tarred ground, the light which emanated from grenade illuminated the dark sky, making it seem as if the sun was descending into the planet.
That single act of Syd bought him enough time to run away from the current position. He darted towards the blinded Mechanoids while they were still in a [Blinded] and [Dazed] state.
In a quick, successive motion, he grabbed a nearby rusted iron piper, did a parkour flip over a bunch of cars that obstructed his path and separated him from the Mechanoids. Coming out of their negative state¹, one of the Mechanoids suddenly fell due to it destroyed power core. Instantly alert, the remaining four Rogue Mechanoids tilted towards their fallen member position with holes of locating the intruder.
Ta! Ta! Ta! Ta!
Bullets spew out of the nozzle of the Karvok SMG in Syd's hands. He gave distance between himself and the Mechanoids by taking cover beside an abandoned SUV that was ten meters away and while they were looking around for his whereabouts, he sprung into action by sending rounds after rounds of bullets at them.
Sporadically firing at them, he silenced another two Rogue Mechanoids, disarmed and dismembered another one while the last of them actually escaped his madman-like attack unscathed.
"BZZZZ! ACTIVATING CLOSE-COMBAT MODE! BZZZ!"
Like it were on adrenaline, the last Mechanoid standing burst out with speed that was far greater than it former. It zoomed at Syd who was exactly twelve meters away. But, in the blink of an eye, it close the gap, further stunning Syd. His brain began to overwork, plan and calculate as his senses were at alert.
Like a pro-fighter, the Rogue Mechanoid took it stance and sent a lightning-speed punch in the direction of his jaws.
Pow!
An uppercut! Syd staggered backwards as he felt the world spinning. Not yet standing upright to face his enemy, two hardened fist punch made of metals slammed into his belly, sending him further backwards.
Bang!
He collided with one of the many vehicles that were abandoned on the road. The force of his collision pushed the said car backwards as well. Blood began to seep out from he side of his mouth as he watched the Mechanoids taking heavy steps towards him.
Wanting to finish the intruder with a single attack, the Rogue Mechanoid shifted it body slightly wanting a perfect stance for it kick which was aimed up his head. With swift calculations and the nearing of the kick against his head, Syd sharply laid flat on the ground with the kick missing it target an inch or two. Not giving it chance to balance itself, Syd kicked the other leg of the Mechanoid, forcing it into a splitting-like position.
Like karma, Syd sent an heavy kick at the head of the Mechanoid after springing up from the floor like a frog.
Bang!
Similar to a ragdoll, the Mechanoid swept it body against the tarred ground and laid sprawled out like an exhausted individual. It could have stood up like a combat-ready Mechanoid but it couldn't because Syd's kick had seemingly affected the chip in which the Rogue Mechanoid uses to think.
Not willing to let go of the situation, Syd gets close to the Mechanoid, and with a heavy stomp, the power core of the Mechanoid cracked and it light simmering down completely.
Neither forgetting the dismembered Rogue Mechanoid, Syd had alone taken down a group of seven Rogue Mechanoids — Two were ambushed, one was stabbed in the power core, two were gunned down and one dismembered and the last one, fought to death.
He felt proud of himself as he was more certain that his experience in combat was still there.
