Austin looked at Jean and caressed her beautiful face, which was marked by fingerprints. "Does it hurt?" he asked worriedly. "Let me take you to the hospital immediately," he declared, about to carry her when she stopped him. She took a skin wiper she had prepared earlier and gently wiped her face, erasing the fingerprint marks.
"This..." Austin was stunned, unsure of how to react.
Wendy's eyes widened in shock. "The Young Madam actually lied to the Young Master! And she reveal the truth in front of him! Will the Young Master be angry?" she thought, worry etching itself on her face. Then, an idea suddenly popped into her head.
"Young Master! It's not the Young Madam's fault for lying to you; everything was orchestrated by me," she announced. "I'm taking the blame for the Young Madam; the Young Master won't touch her," she reasoned inwardly.
Jean's gaze landed on Wendy, and she walked closer, helping her up, then looked at Austin.
Austin pressed his lips together. "Come closer," he commanded.
Wendy wore a worried expression. "I'm done! I forgot that the Young Master can easily see through lies. Have I unintentionally harmed the Young Madam?" she thought, clenching her fists together.
Jean maintained a stoic expression and moved closer to Austin, complying with his command.
Austin smiled warmly and suddenly pulled Jean closer to himself, his hand resting on her soft, delicate waist. "On your knees, Wendy!" he ordered, his voice echoing.
Wendy immediately knelt down. "I knew I've made things worse. I'm sorry, Young Madam. I'm willing to end my life to seek your forgiveness," she thought, tears escaping her eyes.
Hearing Austin's order, Jean raised her head and looked at him, her eyes silently questioning, "What do you intend to do?"
Austin chuckled and tucked Jean's hair behind her ear. "It seems you like this maid a lot and care for her," he pointed out.
Jean looked away.
Austin pulled Jean's chin up so she could meet his gaze. "She dare to teach you bad things, I feel like breaking her legs and removing her lung—um...her left eye as well. What do you think?"
Jean's cold aura burst forth, her chilling gaze fixed on Austin.
Austin was surprised. "Oh... this is your other side," he thought, raising his brows.
"Darling, you don't want me to do that?" he asked in a low murmur.
Jean rolled her eyes to the left.
"It's possible for me not to do that, but you have to do three things in return," Austin proposed.
Jean's attention shifted back to him.
Wendy, who had been shivering on the ground, suddenly ceased shaking. "Ehn? What the hell is going on?" she thought.
Austin chuckled. "Sweetheart, first, you will have to go with me and register our marriage at the civil affairs bureau," he stated.
Jean's mouth slowly parted, revealing her beautiful white teeth, although one of her bottom teeth was silver, and there was a tiny gap between her front teeth that made her even more attractive.
Austin was stunned; his heart pounded faster, and he found it difficult to calm himself.
Jean closed her mouth again without saying anything and continued to stare at Austin.
"That silver tooth..." Austin's brows slightly knitted but cleared almost immediately, and his racing heart finally settled. "Second, I want you to kiss me now," he announced.
Jean remained expressionless.
"And lastly, darling... I haven't thought about it yet; I'll let you know later. So, do you agree?" Austin smiled charmingly.
Wendy's jaw dropped. "What's with the Young Master?" she exclaimed inwardly.
Jean's gaze became bored.
"Of course, darling has the choice to reject, but I will have to vent my anger on your favorite maid," Austin warned.
Jean's cold demeanor emerged again, but it subsided quickly, revealing her doll-like self as she looked at Austin without a hint of rejection.
Austin leaned forward. "So, darling, do you agree?" he asked for confirmation.
Jean blinked once.
Austin smiled handsomely and leaned in for a kiss.
"Boss, she has been taken care of... are we..." Sunny's voice echoed, but he couldn't complete his statement at the sight before him. "What the hell!" he exclaimed inwardly.
Austin paused, his murderous aura unleashed as he fixed a cold stare on Sunny. "Get Lost!" His voice was laced with menace.
Sunny wanted to speak, but meeting Austin's deadly glare, he dared not utter a word. "Yes, boss, you can continue," he replied and fled immediately.
Austin's cold aura vanished as he turned to Jean. "Let's go to the civil affairs bureau first" he asserted and carried her horizontally as they both departed.
Wendy breathed a sigh of relief. "The Young Madam and Young Master are both fitting, but shouldn't one be softer? They both... ah... better pour some water on my head first," she thought and immediately fled.
.....
Austin was holding two red certificates with a joyous smile on his face while Jean merely looked at him, unable to comprehend why he was so happy.
"Sweetheart, now we are officially husband and wife by law. It remains to plan the wedding; how do you want it to be?" Austin inquired of Jean.
Jean stopped walking and looked at Austin. She held his palm and wrote, "I don't want any wedding."
Austin's brows knitted slightly, and he opened his mouth to respond when, suddenly,
"Goodness! Look at that doll! She's so beautiful! And she looks more like a human; Mom, I want her!" a little kid around seven years old exclaimed.
Austin's brows knitted dangerously.
A young woman, approximately thirty years old and the kid's mother, smiled and lifted the child into her arms. "If my baby wants her, Mommy will get her for you," she grinned.
"Yeah!" The little kid clapped in excitement.
The woman approached Jean and Austin, studying Jean intently. She couldn't help but feel amazed.
"Young man, this female robot... do you want to sell her? She's to our liking, and we can afford any amount you want," she beamed at Austin.
Austin's brows knitted even tighter in a dangerous fashion. "Female robot, is it? She looks like one, huh?" His voice was cold and menacing, already sending chills down the woman's spine.
