"Uncharted Gate: Conference Debate III"

Snake Calendar, Year 2025

6th Day of October, Monday

The Main City of Nova Asta, Conference Hall Day 3

The debate had concluded in the Central Continent, and the results were clear: the Nobility System would remain voluntary, preserving the continent's democratic principles. However, the Solaris Empire's ambition extended beyond the Central Continent. As the Grand Dukes and Grand Duchesses began visiting the Eastern, Southern, and Northern Continents, their mission was to gauge interest, address concerns, and promote collaboration under the Nobility System.

The Eastern Continent's Response

The Eastern Continent, a land steeped in tradition and honor, operated under a monarchy influenced by Eastern philosophies. The hierarchy was structured around an Emperor with layers of regional rulers beneath them, all bound by a code of loyalty and discipline.

The Grand Duke Kylan Ethear arrived at the Eastern Imperial Court, a palace adorned with intricate tapestries and sprawling gardens. He was received by Emperor Tenzen Akihito and his council of nobles, who listened intently as Kylan outlined the Solaris Empire's proposal.

"The Nobility System," Kylan began, "is not merely a title or a privilege. It is a system of merit, duty, and responsibility. It provides opportunities for growth, leadership, and prosperity in the uncharted world."

One of the Eastern Continent's shoguns, Lord Renji Katsuro, stood. "We respect the ideals of merit and responsibility, but we already have a deeply rooted structure of governance. What assurance can you offer that the Nobility System will not disrupt our traditions?"

Kylan nodded. "The system is adaptable. It does not seek to replace your traditions but to enhance them. Those who choose to volunteer can align the trials and responsibilities with your existing cultural values. The Solaris Empire has no intention of imposing its will; rather, we wish to collaborate."

After hours of deliberation, Emperor Tenzen spoke. "The Eastern Continent values harmony and order. We shall allow individuals to volunteer for the Nobility System, but the monarchy will not mandate it. Additionally, we request that any noble status earned be recognized within our cultural framework."

The Southern Continent's Response

The Southern Continent was a diverse and dynamic region, governed by a federation of city-states and tribal coalitions. Each city-state maintained its own autonomy, while the tribal leaders held sway over the rural areas. Decision-making required consensus among these varied factions.

Grand Duchess Althea Liora Ashfield visited the largest city-state, Azurea, where the Federation Council convened. She addressed the council with her characteristic poise.

"The uncharted world presents an unparalleled opportunity for all continents," Althea declared. "The Nobility System provides a structured way to explore and develop this new frontier while ensuring accountability and fairness."

Councilor Amara Solis, leader of Azurea, raised a skeptical eyebrow. "Grand Duchess, our people value independence. What guarantee do we have that the Nobility System won't create divisions or empower certain groups over others?"

Althea smiled. "The system is voluntary. It is designed to reward those who contribute to society, regardless of their background. Furthermore, an impartial council monitors all noble actions to prevent corruption and ensure fairness."

After much debate, the council reached a compromise. "We will permit volunteers to participate in the Nobility System," Amara announced. "However, each city-state retains the right to regulate how this system interacts with our local governance."

The Northern Continent's Response

Unlike the other continents, the Northern Continent was a land of chaos. Fragmented by anarchy, dictatorship, and communist factions, it lacked any centralized government. The visit by Grand Duke Alaric Thornfield to the Northern Continent was fraught with tension.

Alaric met with several leaders, including warlords and revolutionary councils, in a neutral zone. His attempts to explain the Nobility System were met with skepticism and hostility.

"This system sounds like a ploy for control," growled General Ivan Drakov, leader of a militant dictatorship. "Why should we trust the Solaris Empire or your so-called nobles?"

Alaric remained calm. "The Nobility System is not about control. It is about providing structure and opportunity in the uncharted world. Those who volunteer will have the chance to claim and develop territories, fostering prosperity for their people."

A revolutionary leader, Nadia Volkov, folded her arms. "And what prevents this system from being exploited by the powerful to oppress the weak?"

"We have safeguards," Alaric replied. "An independent council oversees the system, and a special dispatch unit addresses corruption or misuse of power. The goal is to empower individuals and communities, not oppress them."

The factions remained divided, but some expressed interest. "We will allow individuals to participate," Nadia said cautiously. "But the Northern Continent will not officially endorse this system."

The Global Call

Following these visits, the Solaris Empire organized a global holographic conference. Leaders from all continents gathered virtually, their faces displayed on large screens in the Conference Hall of Nova Asta.

The Empress of Solaris began the call. "Esteemed leaders, we stand on the brink of a new era. The uncharted world offers untold opportunities, but it also presents challenges that no single continent can face alone. Therefore, we propose a Continental Expedition Force: a collaborative effort to explore and develop this new frontier."

She continued, "We ask each continent to volunteer a minimum of one million individuals to form this force. These individuals will work together under a unified command structure, representing the best of humanity. The deadline to accept this invitation is one month from today."

President Armand Vexis of the Central Continent spoke first. "The Central Continent recognizes the importance of this mission. We will deliberate and provide our response within the given timeframe."

Emperor Tenzen of the Eastern Continent followed. "The Eastern Continent values harmony and cooperation. We shall consider your proposal carefully."

From the Southern Continent, Councilor Amara Solis said, "Our federation values independence, but we see the potential in this expedition. We will discuss this matter with our member states."

Finally, General Drakov of the Northern Continent growled, "The Northern Continent is fragmented, but we will allow individuals to volunteer. Do not expect a unified force from us."

The Empress nodded. "Thank you all for your consideration. Together, we can build a brighter future."

The call ended, leaving each continent to ponder its decision. The countdown to the expedition had begun, and the fate of the uncharted world hung in the balance.
