"khuk ugh."

The sound of struggle came from Ah Biao's mouth, his metal arm repeatedly grasping at Chen Feng's right palm, trying but failing to budge it even an inch.

Is this what a fully enhanced cyborg is like?

Was the gap always this large?

No one could answer his question.

Finally, remembering that the time limit for the Azure Armor was almost up, with only two minutes left.

Chen Feng slightly raised his head, coldly staring at Gao Tian Heng.

Crack!

With a forceful grip, he tossed Ah Biao aside.

Thud!

The heavy thud of Ah Biao's body hitting the floor caused a tremor, and standing not far from the elevator door, Gao Tian Heng's body shook. His face turned as pale as someone who had lost all their blood.

[Fear +1!]

[Fear +1!]

[Fear +1!]

Chen Feng walked up to him, his footsteps echoing in the silence.

"Who are you?"

Gao Tian Heng glared at the Azure mask, a mix of fear, confusion, and rage filled his heart.

When did he acquire such a powerful enemy?

Someone who could summon a fully enhanced cyborg to take action?

There was no answer.

Chen Feng simply took another step forward, stopping just a foot away from Gao Tian Heng.

Chen Feng reflected on the events of the day.

He had once thought about negotiating peacefully.

However—

Bang bang bang bang!

Clang clang clang clang clang!

Bullets were deflected by the Azure Armor. Chen Feng wrapped his arms around himself, as though bracing against a wild wind.

The deafening sound of gunshots echoed.

Gao Tian Heng's eyes bulged, his body froze for half a second before he fell backward.

The black handgun in his hand had emptied its magazine, and smoke curled from the muzzle.

Everything ended there. Chen Feng glanced at the trembling receptionist and other irrelevant people hiding in the corner of the building.

Without lingering, he turned and left the company.

Thud thud thud!

His footsteps echoed as the dark sky, seemingly heavy with clouds, began to clear.

The Azure Armor had only one minute left, and Chen Feng's body began to feel heavier, his head increasingly fatigued.

His mental and physical exhaustion was immense. He quickened his pace, hoping to find a surveillance blind spot to shed the Azure form.

However, before he could fully exit the building, something unexpected happened.

Whoosh!!!

A silver-gray figure streaked across from the opposite side of the street, like a truck slamming into him, sending gusts of wind.

His pupils contracted, and Chen Feng quickly raised both arms to shield himself.

Bang!

The sharp pain struck, and Chen Feng's legs slid back across the ground for seven to eight meters.

His arms felt numb, on the verge of losing all strength.

The surface of the Azure Armor cracked slightly, and his blood and energy surged within him. He felt like his body was no longer his own.

"A mere Tier 2 Metal Cyborg, without even an armed module installed, daring to provoke me?"

The silver-gray figure spoke mockingly, its entire body exuding a metallic feel. There was a circular pattern on the left chest.

An otherworldly aura radiated from it, pressuring Chen Feng greatly.

Realizing this, Chen Feng clenched his teeth.

He stomped his foot, immediately twisting his body and running in the opposite direction.

"You want to escape?"

The silver-gray figure sneered, ready to chase him down, intending to teach this wild cyborg a lesson.

However, to his surprise—

Whoosh!!

A dark golden flying dart, about a foot in size, descended from the sky, aiming directly at his face and eyes.

The air whistled, white vapor swirling on both sides.

The silver-gray cyborg's eyes changed slightly, quickly swinging a fist to block.

Bang!

The dart was knocked back, flying into the air and quickly disappearing across the street.

"Who was that?"

The silver-gray cyborg felt pain in his hand, but didn't have time to investigate. He quickly used a scanning module to survey the other side of the street.

A quick shadow disappeared out of his range, and he couldn't capture any image.

Then, a strange sensation hit him.

Looking down, he noticed a small hole the size of a needle puncture on the back of his hand.

This was high-precision silver steel, capable of blocking sniper bullets, yet it had been pierced by that dart.

His gaze darkened as he cautiously scanned the surroundings.

The Azure figure had vanished from view, and he stood in place, uncertain, waiting for several seconds.

Eventually, hearing the sound of a security vehicle approaching, and seeing no further signs of the assailant, he snorted coldly and quickly disappeared.

Huff! Huff! Huff!

In a corner of an alley, after confirming he wasn't being pursued or followed, Chen Feng dismissed the Azure form and leaned heavily against the nearby wall, panting deeply.

His physical energy was almost gone, and mentally, he was utterly exhausted.

He had never felt so weak.

"I should avoid pushing the Azure Armor to its limit next time."

After catching his breath, Chen Feng despised this feeling of weakness.

He forced his tired body to walk out from the other side of the alley, eventually blending into the crowd. He relaxed slightly, relieved that no one would recognize him now that the Azure form had dissipated.

"I wonder who that cyborg was just now."

"Could it be a helper Gao Tian Heng hired?"

His pace slowed as he felt slightly better, finally gathering enough energy to think.

Earlier, he had sensed a deadly danger.

With just one strike, he had nearly lost the ability to defend himself.

Clearly, the silver-gray cyborg was very powerful, possibly even surpassing the professional level.

"And that dark golden flying dart... who was it that helped me?"

A hint of confusion flashed across his face. Although he had been running away, his senses had clearly picked up the flying dart that had descended from the sky, stopping the silver-gray cyborg's pursuit.

Such a tactic was beyond his understanding—neither a martial arts technique nor something a cyborg would use.

After thinking for a while with no answers, the toll of mental exhaustion hit him, making his head feel foggy.

He quickly abandoned the thoughts, hailed a taxi, and left in a hurry.

Half an hour later.

In the study of a single-story villa, Lin Hao changed into casual clothes and sat behind a redwood desk.

Knock knock!

A knock on the door.

"Come in."

The door opened, and an elderly man with gray-white hair, dressed in a black professional suit, entered.

"Young master, your friend is fine."

The old man's voice was respectful, and he wore white gloves, just like a professional butler.

Surprisingly, his left eye was dark gold, and it seemed to be a mechanical implant.

"Huff."

Lin Hao, whose expression had been solemn, finally relaxed a bit.

He had sensed something was wrong when Chen Feng left the dojo.

That's why he had urgently asked Liu Bo to go to Tian Heng Corp's building to ensure nothing happened to Chen Feng.

"Thank you, Liu Bo."

"No need to thank me, young master."

"Your friend didn't go himself. Even if I didn't go, he would still be fine."

"Oh?" Lin Hao raised an eyebrow, surprised. This was not what he expected.

Seeing his confusion, Liu Bo explained, "Your friend seems to know a cyborg."

"That cyborg went to Tian Heng Corp and wiped out Gao Tian Heng and his daughter."

Lin Hao's eyes widened in shock.

Chen Feng knew a cyborg?

And he had wiped out Gao Tian Heng?

Surprised, Lin Hao soon heard Liu Bo explain the scene he had witnessed outside the building.

Still in shock, Lin Hao asked, "A cyborg without an armed module?"

"Then it seems that Chen Feng's friend probably hasn't joined any faction."

Liu Bo nodded lightly, agreeing that this seemed the most likely explanation.

They chatted for a while about this, and Lin Hao soon thought about the silver-gray cyborg.

His eyes flickered, realizing that the situation in Nanjiang City was even more complicated than he had imagined.

Seeing Lin Hao's expression change, Liu Bo hesitated for a moment before speaking his mind.

"Young master, forgive me for saying this but..."

"I personally think that you've gotten too involved with this Tian Heng Corp matter."

Lin Hao paused for a moment, then understood Liu Bo's meaning.

"Just making friends, Liu Bo."

"Being sincere opens up more opportunities. Isn't that what my father used to say?"

Lin Hao defended himself.

Hearing this, Liu Bo was silent for a moment.

"Alright, Liu Bo, I'm tired."

"You should go rest now."

"Alright."

Liu Bo nodded and didn't say more. He quickly left the room and gently closed the door.

Watching him leave, Lin Hao sat in place.

After a few moments of silence, he finally looked up at the night sky outside the window.

To the southeast, it felt like home was far away.

In the stillness, a deep sigh escaped his lips.
