"Lyla dear, how have you been? " With all the guests going towards the counters to eat, I got a little time to go to my aunt and uncle. "I'm fine, aunty, how are you?" I replied, giving her a bear hug.
"Noah, dear welcome back." My uncle look towards Noah and pat his back, as he greeted them.
"We all miss you. Our house has become silent and cold. I now regret marrying you off this early," she complained, holding my hands as if to check if I was alright.
"I also miss you a lot." I reply, feeling little sensitive.
"Really? But your face is showing something otherwise," she teased me, making me laugh.
"I'm happy to see you happy here," she said suddenly. I gave her a small smile of approval.
As we were talking, my eyes fell onto a familiar silhouette. "Tina?" I mumbled.
"What?" my aunt asked.
"Nothing, I just thought I saw someone I knew. Maybe it is my imagination," I continued. How could she be here? I thought.
