I handed my phone to Rose again. She knew about my bond with Rain, so she wasn't as nervous as the other girls, who looked like they would run away if not for the security presence around us.
I didn't check all the comments people were writing, but from the few I saw, everyone was shocked to see such a dangerous creature roaming freely.
"Rain," I called her name, and in an instant, she dashed towards me. With one push, I fell onto the soft grass as she snuggled her head into my stomach, sniffing me like a cat. Well, she is a big cat.
As I looked into her eyes, I couldn't explain it, but there was happiness in them. It was the bond between us—one that let us understand each other's emotions without words.
The girls screamed in horror at the sight.
Rose quickly calmed them down. "It's okay, guys. They're good friends," she said, her tone carrying a hint of sarcasm.
