*Leah's POV*

At the request of the king and princess, we decided to stay in the Royal Palace for the night before going home. We had a grand feast, during which the King and Axel talked for quite a while, before we were all assigned rooms. 

I was happy because all night long Axel had his eyes on me. I could feel his burning gaze following me throughout the banquet hall. Since I told him that he had to bed me before he could add any more women to his harem, he had taken an increased interest in me. 

Part of me felt like he was only going to sleep with me just so he could add more women, but then I thought about how long we have been together. I think about the times we have bathed and played together without ever going the distance. I realized that the entire time, he was just waiting for me to give him the green light. He is such a respectful man towards my sister mates and myself; it makes me happy that I chose him over anyone else.
