Learning Swordsmanship!

'Ever since I was brought here, Clyde has always been my number bully. Well, he was different from the kids who threw stones at me and called me names. Those people wanted me gone, but Clyde was different. He sometimes protected me from the real bullies and made sure I was safe. However, he and his friends have been entrusted to my weapon training. Should I be worried?'

Celina had a lot of thoughts going on in her head as she stood in front of Clyde and his friends. They were still deliberating on who was going to teach Celina.

"Let Clyde teach her swordsmanship since he's good with it. I'll teach her archery, and you, teach her how to use the spear," One of them with green hair spoke.

"Haha! I know I'm the best with the sword. It'll take a few months for her to learn, but I'll make sure she learns as quickly as possible," Clyde spoke proudly, diverting his gaze to Celina.

Celina couldn't hear what they were talking about but their glare made her understand that her hellish training was about to begin.

After a few minutes, Clyde approached her with a wooden sword in his hands. He flung it skillfully, threw it up and finally caught it in his hand without even looking.

"Wow! Cool!" Celina clapped her hands, with her eyes twinkling in excitement.

While Eria was worried about her safety, Celina was excited about getting trained by these people. After all, she's able to learn things that she never got to learn in her past life. That's one reason she was excited about it.

"Listen now, student!" He called her name and she snapped out of her thoughts.

"This is one of the elf's secret moves. You won't be learning it even if you train for ten years. After all, that's how long I learnt it, but we elves are way stronger than weak humans like you because we live longer, and you guys die early. So..."

'Was that a description or an insult?'

Celina rolled her eyes.

"Stand and watch me!" He said, stepping away from Celina.

Clyde stood tall and confident. He smoothly pulled his sword from its sheath. Celina thought he was going to use the wooden sword but since he was going to show off, he wanted it to be perfect. The blade caught the sunlight, and the air buzzed with excitement. The other little elves had gathered to watch Clyde's showing off his skills.

"Is he doing it again?"

"Brother Clyde is so cool!"

He smirked and took a firm stance, feet shoulder-width apart.

"Celina. Keep your eyes on me"

"Yeah, I'm doing that," she answered.

As he began to move, his sword sliced through the air steadily. Every one of his swings made a soft whoosh, like gentle waves. Clyde's arm moved quickly, carving clean arcs in the air. Every strike sent little swirls of wind dancing around him.

"Woah!" The other kids were amazed.

As he completed a series of complex moves, the air currents flowed gracefully, reflecting his expert swordplay.

Finally, he stopped, with his sword raised, while the wind calmed. He diverted his gaze to Celina.

"Did you see that? That's what I call swordplay. Not the tacky moves you humans stole from us" Clyde flung his golden hair to the back, proudly.

"Will you teach me?" Celina asked, ignoring his insults, no, his comments.

"Slow down now, Celina. We'll have to take things slowly. Before we start, let's see if you can draw out aura" he said, throwing the wooden sword at her.

Celina caught it with ease and waved it quickly.

'Huh? I thought it would be heavy?'

She thought to herself.

That was coming from someone whose strength was 30. That's the strength of an average teenager, yet a five-year-old girl had the same strength. Clyde shot his eyes wide open when he saw Celina wave the sword with so much ease.

He remembered when he was handed the sword at the age of eight, he found it so heavy. He couldn't even lift it properly. He cleared his throat.

'Maybe she's just lucky'

"Okay, let's go straight to the point, Celina. I want you to close your eyes and feel something inside you. You'll see colours that are separated within you... Everyone has it, but it's always difficult to use it. Do you see something?"

"Yes, like small light bulbs" she replied.

"Yes! Oh, excellent! Celina! I'm an excellent teacher! Go ahead and gather them together. Then try to bring it out of your body. You can use aura to strengthen your body and also your weapon," he explained.

Celina could see them. They were way too little inside her body and their colour was red.

'Maybe I should add more to the aura. I never thought I would use it this early'

{Do you wish to allocate some points to aura?}

Celina grinned as her eyes were closed.

'Ha! This bastard blue box can read my mind too!' 'Yes! Allocate 50 points to aura'

She gave a response.

{Congratulations host! 50 points have been allocated to Aura!}

Aura: 2 (+50)

Celina silently watched as the red bulbs inside her grew in numbers. It increased rapidly and she was pleased.

"Well, since you're able to feel it. That should be all for today. We'll start properly tomorrow. It'll take a long time for you to use aura properly" Clyde said and turned to walk away.

"You mean, like this?" Celina asked and Clyde turned around to see the unusual red energy around her. His eyes shot wide open.

'Is that aura? How can it be so dense? No wait! Who the hell is this child?'

"How are you able to use that?" His voice was laced with a bit of anger.

"I did as you said, teacher. You're excellent, Clyde!" Celina gave him a thumbs up, smiling at him. She wanted to distract him so he wouldn't ask any more questions, but he was still surprised. It took him ten whole years to learn how to use aura, but a human child of five years old was able to use it just after training for five minutes.

"Training is over today. We'll start tomorrow and it'll be hellish. So better have a proper sleep, Celina" Clyde's tone changed as he stared at her over his shoulder.

He immediately walked away, clenching his sword tightly.

'Is this jealousy? Me? Am I jealous of a five-year-old human? No way! Swordsmanship isn't supposed to be that easy! I'll make sure to teach her that tomorrow'
