Slay 500 Quasi-Core Beasts (20/500)
Obtain a rare natural artifact (0/1)
Survive a battle against an opponent one rank higher than you (0/1)
Absorb a Mana Core (0/1)
Upgrade 5 F-Rank skills to E-Rank (0/5)
Time Limit: None.
Rewards: Advanced Class Evolution.
Kaden's eyes scanned over the quest details. This was huge. To be able to upgrade his already powerful class was something he had never expected. But then again this was the offer for a superior being not for a human being.
Only because he had stolen the essence of something else he was able to enjoy such benefits. Not that he was complaining. He was willing to take any and all advantages offered to him. It did not matter if it was fated to be his or if he had stolen someone else's fate.
He wasn't just climbing the ranks through normal means. He was forcing his way up, taking power that wasn't originally meant for him, and reshaping his destiny into something entirely new.
And if fate had to break in the process?
So be it.
Kaden's eyes burned as he read over the quest details again, absorbing every word with a mixture of exhilaration and cold determination.
Slaying 500 Quasi-Core Beasts. He had already killed 20. That meant he had 480 left to go. It was a ridiculous number, but not impossible. With his current strength, he could accomplish this rather easily and he anyways had to do this in order to level up.
Obtain a rare natural artifact. This one was vague, but Kaden had a few ideas. The mountains east of here were rumored to hold ancient relics of nature—plants, stones, even beast remains infused with mana. If he searched long enough, he was bound to find something that counted.
Now that he thought about it…Maybe he could find that bloodline catalyst here too
Survive a battle against a D-Rank opponent.
This was where things got more complicated. D-Rank creatures were no joke. They weren't just stronger—they were fundamentally different. Faster, smarter, and in many cases, they possessed abilities that lower-ranked beings couldn't even fathom.
He had to find one first, then kill it, and then absorb its core. A triple-layered challenge. This was the hardest requirement. A D-Rank opponent meant true danger. The idea of facing something like that this so soon made his blood run cold.
But it also excited him. He wanted to see just how far his insanely high raw stats can push him.
A grin curled at the edge of Kaden's lips. He had spent his past life struggling, clawing his way through an existence dictated by rules and limitations. But this time, he was different. This time, he had stolen power itself.
And now, he was going to keep taking. His fingers twitched, the hunger for battle settling deep in his bones.
First things first. He immediately opened the other new quests he had obtained and took a look.
