Kai, a young man paralyzed by an incurable disease, decides to play the new VRMMORPG called Realms of Monsters in search of freedom and adventure. However, when he logs in for the first time, something unexpected happens.

While everyone else chooses their class and race, Kai awakens in the middle of a forest... as a salamander.

Luckily for him, he won't stay a salamander for long.

Kai needed to find a way to spread his Monster Energy around him.

simple: to coat the floor, the air, the ceiling—everything.

He wanted his Monster Energy to coat everything in the room; that way, he would be able to get a mental visualization of his surroundings even if he had his senses blocked.

However, Kai quickly encountered a big problem.

He didn't have nearly enough Monster Energy to execute this plan of his.

But again, it was the only thing he could think of. There was nothing else.

He didn't know when an arrow would be sent since, in the last trial, the times at which they were sent were different than the 30-second mark.

Running around like a dumbass would fail. He had already tried that on the first difficulty, and it had failed miserably.
