I had turned sixteen. Taw had moved out and was staying with Dairen. Keith stayed back. We had gotten very close over the years. He would tell me stories of how technology was going to change the world and how he was going to be a part of it.
What have you done?

Keith disappearred without a word. No letters, no texts or anything. He just vanished. Mama got worried. Mama got sick. Dad wasn't bothered. Taw threw a tantrum accusing Mama.
Mama's condition got worse.
Mama sent me off to stay with her elder sister to 'keep me safe'. Her sister sent me to learn arts to take my mind off things. I dropped out and took Elvian science and technology.
I wanted to find Keith. I wanted Mama to get better.
A month after I began to live with Aunt Dara, I had changed a lot,my hair that was once pale began to glow again. I had been enrolled into The Elvian Institution of Arts and Crafts. To be honest I didn't like it there. Arts were no longer my thing. They reminded me of home. I didn't like home. I only liked home when Mama was in it.
I joined the institution midterm, whilst they were preparing to go for a tour to the City of High Elves for 'Inspiration' and 'Motivation'.
Our Arts and Crafts Teacher, Mr Mirko, paired us into groups. I was paired with a blind Wood elf. A boy elf. I felt awkward.
Why would a blind elf want to learn what he can't see?
His name, Dream. Touché
The day of the tour was dated to the twelfth month and sixteenth day of the Elvian Calendar. I was nervous. I wasn't used to crowds or people who weren't my family. I felt choked.
We were given portal tags with time countdowns imprinted on them. Mine was a purple tag.
I spent the night crying in Aunt Dara's arms, she managed to console me.

I nervously picked at my nails. Too long. Need to cut them. Aunt Dara was helping me pack food and all I'll need for the ride.
As she handed me my lunch bag, a purple swirly portal opened up right at our doorframe, it matched my tag.
I turned, waved nervously at Aunt Dara and stepped into the portal, eyes closed. I awaited impact but my feet met the ground softly.
"There she is! Complete!" Mr Mirko clapped happily as his ever-so-merry voice rang out.
"Now you'll be strapped to your pair, it's for safety reasons and for those with special needs" all eyes fell on me, behind me. Dream shyly scratched his forehead, a weak smile on his lips.
"Alright then! Shall we?"
It was then I noticed that we all were standing on a platform. Mr Mirko raised his hands and light grey fume-like seeped out of them. Warlock Elf.
The platform shook and all the students began floating. I felt a hand clutch unto mine. It was Dream.
"Sorry, flying really isn't my thing?"
"We're just floating"
"Oh, pardon me then" he chuckled nervously as his grip tightened
"Are you scared of heights?"
His little head nodded, I looked at his face properly. He had light green skin, brown wavy hair. Typical wood fairy features. Although his eyes, instead of a dark brown or black color, they were green like emeralds but with a white wet film over them.
"What about you? Are you scared of heights?"
I blinked at the question
I don't know
