Late Bloomer°

Like Aunt Dara said, I regained my lost abilities back. I could talk, walk and the others I couldn't do before.

It took 2 weeks actually.

Two excruciatingly long weeks.

I sat before my dresser examining my new body. My skin was less smooth, tiny little pores were here and there. My hips too were lined with marks that looked like lightning drawn by a child. My breasts had gotten bigger too. They didn't fit completely in my hands like they used to.

I inspected the stripes on my thighs, they glowed as my hands ran above them. It felt ticklish.

My face had gotten more round and my eyes twinkling. My hair was more lustrous and silky to touch.

Would Faelen recognize me?

Faelen?

My goodness!

I didn't contact him or tell him about my 2 weeks of 'disability'. I searched for my phone. I found it under my bed. It was dead. I quickly plugged it and ran to the home line.

Dialing his number, the dial tone didn't get to ring once when I heard his voice

"My love?" He sounded worried

"H-hi"

"Are you alright?"

He sounded like he was shuffling around.

"Y-yeah"

"You must have been shaken...by all that"

I looked at the phone before placing it back to my ear

"Aunty told me what happened"

I mouthed a 'oh' and began to playing with my hair

"I wanted to be the one to tell you..."

"Pfft, you can tell me...I'll pretend I never heard it from Aunty"

I snorted and brushed my hair behind my free ear

"Are you busy?" I breathed into the phone, teeth pressing down on my tongue

"Do you want me to come over?"

I heard him swallow as his words reached me

"Do you want to come over?"

All I heard was rapid shuffling and the line disconnected.

I blinked shocked and dropped the phone back in place.

"Inviting him over so soon..."

Aunt Dara walked into the living room, her hands fumbling as she tried to hook her hoop earrings into place. She had her handbag over her arm.

"I have a late night shift today...no snu snu in my house"

She pointed at me, I scrunched up my face feigning disgust, she chuckled and waved me goodbye.

A few minutes after she left, the doorbell rang.

I paused from combing my hair and headed out

"Who is it?"
