Revalations

Nasuke blinked, finding himself back where it all began—the strange void where he first met Arcanis. The swirling black and white mist enveloped the space, and the faint hum of energy resonated in the air. He looked around, confused.

"Where… how did I get here?" Nasuke muttered, his voice echoing slightly.

"I brought you here," a voice answered from behind him.

Nasuke turned sharply to see Arcanis floating mid-air, relaxed with a book in his hands. The deity didn't even look up as he spoke.

"Well done on staying alive this far," Arcanis said casually.

"Wow, thanks," Nasuke replied sarcastically, crossing his arms. "I really needed that after you scammed me."

Arcanis raised an eyebrow, finally closing the book. "Scammed you? Not my fault you didn't understand the rules of the game."

He descended gracefully to the ground, his feet making no sound as they touched the invisible floor. "How's the game so far?"

"Oh, you mean this 'parallel world' that's definitely not a game?" Nasuke shot back, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

Arcanis smirked. "Quite the sense of humor you've got there."

With a snap of his fingers, Nasuke felt his body begin to bloat, his hard-earned physique fading as fat piled back onto his frame. Panic set in as he looked down at himself.

"Okay, okay, stop!" Nasuke pleaded, holding up his hands.

"Why?" Arcanis asked with a mischievous grin. "I thought you were tired of this game. Might as well send you back to the way you started and kick you out."

"Look, I've worked hard to get this far! You can't just undo all of that!" Nasuke protested.

Arcanis's expression hardened. "I think I can."

"Fine, you win!" Nasuke relented, throwing up his hands in surrender. "I'll be more respectful next time."

Arcanis smirked again, snapping his fingers. Instantly, Nasuke's body returned to its current muscular form.

"Good. Now, tell me about your journey," Arcanis said, crossing his arms.

Nasuke sighed, sitting on the ground. "It's been hectic, but every mission came with great rewards. I've survived so far."

Arcanis nodded, his expression softening slightly. "I see. Then it's time you learned more about this world."

He tossed the book he'd been holding to Nasuke, who barely caught it. Opening it to the first page, Nasuke's eyes widened in shock.

"What… what is this?" he stammered, his voice trembling.

"That," Arcanis said, stepping closer, "is the fate of this world—along with yours."

Nasuke flipped to another page, his hands shaking. The illustration on the page depicted him, standing face-to-face with a massive, grotesque creature. Its form was twisted and monstrous, with glowing red eyes and jagged claws.

"No… no way," Nasuke whispered, his voice barely audible. "That's… that's me… and that thing…"

"Don't call it a 'thing,'" Arcanis said, his tone serious. "You, I, and what you see on that page are—"

Before Arcanis could finish, the world around them began to crack and shatter like glass. A deafening sound filled the void as the pieces of their surroundings fell away, revealing a blinding white light.

"What's going on?!" Nasuke shouted, shielding his eyes.

"It's time to go back," Arcanis said calmly, standing motionless as the world crumbled around him. "We'll talk again, Yamada."

"But you haven't told me what you were going to say!" Nasuke yelled as the light consumed everything.

When he opened his eyes again, Nasuke was back in his room at the inn. The knocking at his door continued, snapping him back to reality. Groaning, he got up and opened the door to find Ryo standing there.

"Oh, it's you," Nasuke muttered, stepping aside to let him in.

Ryo walked in, sitting on a chair near the bed. "So, how's life in this world treating you?"

Nasuke sat on the bed, rubbing his temples. "It's… fine, I guess."

Ryo leaned forward, his eyes glinting with curiosity. "Alright, then tell me—what system did you get?"

"Arcanis' system, of course," Nasuke replied, his tone disinterested.

"I know that already," Ryo said, waving his hand impatiently. "I'm asking if it's the blue, silver, or gold system—or even worse, the red or green. Or…" Ryo's voice dropped to a whisper, "is it one of the rare ones?"

Nasuke shrugged. "I don't know. It always shows my quests in blue."

Ryo smirked, tapping his chest. A green light appeared, radiating outward as a system screen materialized in front of him. Nasuke's attention was immediately drawn to it.

System:

Name: Ryo

Class: Wind Mage

Rare Class: Wind God

Rank: A

Ability: Wind

Battle Status:

HP: 2800

MP: 3900

Level: 12

ATT: 1800

DEF: 2300

"See? Mine's the green system, one of the strongest rare systems," Ryo said proudly. "Now, let's see yours."

Nasuke hesitated for a moment before tapping his chest. A brilliant white light burst forth, flooding the room with an intensity that forced both of them to shield their eyes.

"What kind of light is this?!" Ryo exclaimed, struggling to see through the glare.

When the light finally subsided, Nasuke's system appeared, glowing with a radiant white hue.

Ryo stared in disbelief, his jaw dropping. "No way… the white system... It's stronger than anything I've ever seen."

System:

Name: Nasuke Yamada

Class: Blood Warrior

Rare Class: Creation God

Rank: UNKNOWN

Ability: Blood Raver

Rare Ability: God's Creation

Battle Status:

Level: 8

HP: 4500

MP: 2900

ATT: 3000

DEF: 3000

Nasuke squinted at the stats. "That's… a bit overpowered for a level 8, don't you think?"

Ryo shook his head, still staring at the screen. "Not for the white system. It's one of the legendary systems, second only to the red system. Do you even understand what this means?"

Nasuke leaned back on the bed, his arms crossed. "It means I'm in for a hell of a ride, doesn't it?"

Ryo nodded. "You have no idea."
