Chapter 37: Unleashed Power

The air in the Crimson Fang Pack's fortress thickened with tension as Darius leaned back in his chair, his smirk unwavering.

His dark eyes gleamed with something unreadable—curiosity, amusement, or perhaps something more dangerous.

Aurora remained standing, her posture steady, but she felt the weight of Sarah and Gina's unease pressing against her back. 

They were outnumbered, deep in enemy territory, and Darius was not one to be trusted.

Then, as if on cue, he lifted a hand.

The heavy doors swung open.

At least a dozen warriors poured into the room, their movements calculated and swift. Their presence alone sent a message—Aurora was not going to leave without a fight.

Sarah shifted slightly, her fingers curling around the hilt of her dagger. Gina positioned herself at Aurora's side, shoulders squared. They were ready. But so was Darius.

Aurora's silver eyes darkened.
