The night had become dead silent. Damien and my return caused a commotion because of the injured warrior Boris, whom I had stopped dragging and had let go of his leg.

Boris was helplessly lying on the ground and was breathing slowly. He was barely alive, I made sure of that.

The warriors, including the injured warriors who had been treated by the doctor but hadn't returned to their respective camp houses, looked at me with confused faces.

I didn't blame the way they were looking at me, because if I were in their shoes, I would have done the same thing and also be confused.

I sensed another strong presence other than Damien, making me turn to my side, only for me to see the Gamma come out from where I suspected was his camp house. He approached me and Damien.
