Moty suddenly enlightened as if she knew what had happened. But in fact, she really knew what happened.
"Oh, you make eye contact with that coachman?" Moty said with a smile.
"Oh... you know what happened?" Saze asked.
Right now, Saze is already much better. He sat on the grass and took a deep breath to relax his tight muscles and nerves. However, the fear in his heart and the blood in his vessels were still surging.
"That's just an arcane, he was checking around if there was any danger although he was Finty's bodyguard." Moty said lightly.
"Eh? Finty seems strong, wait, what stage is she right now?" Saze asked.
"...Fifth stage low level." Moty thought for a moment and said.
"Fifth stage low level?!" Saze gasped.
Saze knew that Finty was strong, but he didn't expect it to be that strong. He was surprised, scared, and a little... proud. After all, he was the one who survived Finty's hands.
"No wonder Finty pinched my leg and my bone broke..." Saze murmured.
"But, why did she need bodyguard since she is in the fifth stage already?" Saze asked again.
"Hmm... I don't know, I don't actually have contact with the human world. Finty will teach me the culture of the human world sometimes."
"But I have a guess... maybe she needs a bodyguard because she needs someone to sacrifice themselves in case." Moty said thoughtfully.
"Finty need someone to... sacrifice? Let them die?" Saze's eyes widened as he heard what Moty said.
"Yes, just in case, Finty using some arcane that needs someone to sacrifice themselves.." Moty said without any emotion.
This sounds evil and dehumanizes at all. Saze was sure that he couldn't tell someone to go die for him. This kind of thinking goes against his values and makes him feel cold and uncomfortable.
"This world is weird..." Saze murmured.
At this moment, Moty stretched out a hand to let Saze grab it and stand up. Under Moty's help, Saze rose effortlessly, when he rose up, he shook a few times and stabilized his body.
"Alright, because Finty left so I will replace her to take care of you. Those spiders will do the same too." Moty smiled warmly.
"Gruu!" Those spiders let out a high gruu, including Mon.
Observing the spiders' enthusiastic response near Saze's feet left him feeling odd, yet he couldn't quite express why. However, it also made Saze feel reassured as if he had a friend acting as his protective shield.
"Alright, then what are we going to do while Finty is not here?" Saze asked.
"I don't know too, what you want to do then we will plan for it." Moty chooses to let Saze decide.
Saze thought deeply, thinking about what should he do, in his mind. After a few minutes, Saze wants to improve his power to become stronger. Even though he was safe in this forest, however, becoming stronger was not a bad option at all.
In this forest exuding green vitality, one person, one aberrant, and a group of spiders gathered together to discuss plans for the next few days. The discussion lasted longer and longer, and the sky became darker and darker.
At dusk, they returned to the white ruined palace and prepared for dinner. A bunch of campfires were raised here, and they were surrounded by spiders. On top of the fire were strings of barbecued meat, which were the prey that some of the spiders had caught during the day.
The aroma and smoke of barbecue are everywhere, however, the palace is well-ventilated because of its dilapidation, so the smoke will disperse. Saze wasn't shocked as he sat aside and watched the anthropomorphic movements of these spiders. After four years here, he was used to it.
Although these smells would attract some night predators, but this is the spider's base camp. They have already laid out a bunch of spider webs around it and they would be very happy if predators came over.
After all, no one would dislike a free takeaway, unless it's poisonous.
In the bright palace, there are spiders playing together, grabbing the meat of other spiders, and even fighting. They look like a bunch of elementary school students, no, even elementary students are better than these spiders.
"Gruu!!!" A spider let out a shrill scream.
When the sound rang out, Saze's heart went off. He immediately rose up and looked in the direction of the sound. He immediately discovered that it was a spider that had been pushed into the fire during the fight.
"....." Saze's lips corner twitch a bit.
"...Aw come on, you guys stop fighting." A girl's voice sounded.
It was Moty, she grabbed the leg of the spider that was in the fire and used water arcane to form a water ball to put out the fire on its body. After Moty let go of the spider, The spider immediately pointed at the little spiders next to itself and made a Gruu Gruu sound to Moty as if complaining about their sin.
"Gruu! Gruu!" The spider shouting.
"Ah... I see... Okay... Alright alright... calm down first...." Moty crouches and comforts the spider.
After a while, the spider forgot the hatred between him and the other little spiders and started playing together again, this farce is over.
"Hey, Moty, This kind of drama happens every night, don't you feel tired?" Saze passes a skewer of meat to Moty.
"Welp, I'm used to it." Moty sighed.
When dinner was over, Saze sat beside the tips of the palace and gazed at the huge white eye rune of night. The breeze blows gently on him to gently wave his hair back and his two eyes seem to be hiding something.
As footsteps came from behind Saze, his ears moved a little bit. He did not look back or stand up and turn around but continued to gaze at the eye rune of night.
"Moty... this world doesn't have stars?" Saze's voice was slightly hoarse.
"Stars...?" The voice of Moty sounded behind Saze.
"Saze... you know what? From the stories I heard from you, I feel more and more like you are someone who stepped out of a book of legend." Moty added.
"Huh? Why?" Saze turned his head back with surprised emotion.
"Did Finty tell you that legend?" Moty asked.
"What legend?" Saze confused.
"Ugh... you know, there are many things in your world that mirror the world in the legend such as the sun, moon, and... stars. Also! The most The most shocking thing is! That world in legend is also called... "Earth"." Moty said.
"W-What?! Is this real? Do you know more about that legend?!" Saze's eyes widened, he rose up and turned around to ask anxiously.
"It's in ancient age, this world before is not like this. This world in the ancient age has the sun and moon, and there is also a boundless dark sea that contains countless stars, but that world doesn't have arcane magic and mana and..." Moty replied.
As Moty continued to speak, Saze's breathing became heavier and his heart beat faster and faster. His body trembled as he listened to Moty tell the details of the legend one by one.
"The last thing of that legend is... how the "Earth" civilization was destroyed, but maybe it because the legend was too old so... the detail of that was missing." Moty said.
When Size heard how the "Earth" civilization was destroyed, he shed tears uncontrollably, and when he heard that there was no information about this, his eyes suddenly dimmed. Moty couldn't help but feel sad after seeing this.
"It-It means... I'm not transmigrated to other world but I have... traveled to...the future?" Saze's voice trembles when speaking.
"This... this is just an unfounded legend. It should be... just a coincidence. You don't need to pay too much attention to this..." However, even Moty doesn't believe it's just a coincidence.
"Fine..." Saze sighed and sat down again.
He sat on the ground and hugged his knees, and his eyes filled with tears looked like the dark night. This is the first time he has come into contact with information about the Earth here. From what Moty said, it is basically certain that it is the Earth.
He had many questions in his mind but didn't know how to express them, so he had to keep them in his heart. Moty also sat next to him, followed by a giant spider, Mon.
"At least... thanks for telling me about that." Saze thinks for a moment and thanks to Moty.
Saze knows he couldn't sleep tonight because of this incident.
.....
In a luxury noble mansion, two guards with whole black uniforms are standing and both holding a Musket long gun and guarding the gate.
The guards heard the rapid sound of horse hooves, a black carriage with gold engraving coming.
The carriage stopped before the guards, as they saw the coachman, the guards switched gaze and said.
"Good evening Mr. Lloyd, how was the trip?" A guard smiled warmly and asked the coachman.
"I have nothing to talk with you, now open the gate and get out of my sight, weakling." The coachman or Lloyd said coldly.
"Hehehehe.... hahaha... alright, Mr. Lloyd, you've said the code. You may enter now." As Lloyd said the code, both guards' face was twisted into an exaggerated smile, and their mouth was opened unusually wide.
They opened the gate with stiff movements, but the expressions on their faces did not change, which looked very strange or just like somebody using strings to control them.
"Hmpf!" Lloyd snorted.
As the door slowly opened, Lloyd also controlled the carriage and entered. This noble palace is very luxurious, large and beautiful. But in Lloyd's eyes, it is just a prison. Many servants are here to welcome them back on this bizarre night.
"Hehehe... Hahaha!!! Have fun, Mr. Lloyd!" Those guards close the gate and let out a shriek of laughter.
After that, the guards take their guns aim at each other's heads and slowly pull the trigger.
Bang! Bang!
