Chapter 8: Cries of Massacre

The snake now completely came out of there. It looked very ferocious. It was at least 6 meters tall. It had a deep yellowish eye on the middle of its face. Though, the size of the eye was rather small compare to its size. It also had enormous teeth. All of them were grinding with one and the other, and saliva was dropping on the ground from its mouth. It had black skin.

It noticed few people, who were paralyzed and standing there like a bunch of idiots. It also noticed those run away criminals. So, it grew some blackish tentacles out of its skin, then those turned into snakes, and charged through those paralyzed people, and bit those run away criminals.

Their skin,at once, grew blue, and they fell forward, instantly dead.

The horrid then approached those paralyzed criminals first and open its mouth wide and bite them all, putting them in its mouth and chewing them all at the same time. As it was chewing them, their blood was coming out of his mouth.

Horrids generally prefer to eat human's heart. But this one didn't seem to mind chewing down whole bodies.

Suddenly a set of words appeared before Shohon, saying:

[An intermediate level Horrid has been sighted. Proceed with caution.]

Though, Shohon was still a lower ranker. So, obviously he shouldn't have any chances of killing him-an intermediate level horrid. But, Shohon didn't seem to mind that at all. He was looking expressionless as if he was looking through that horrid , and he was walking towards that horrid at a steady pace.

In a blink of an eye, the horrid suddenly got struke with 2 cannon balls simultaneously. The moment those hit it, the balls exploded, which created strong gust of wind all around the horrid.

A shocking sight. The balls that just exploded actually belonged to Shohon! Shohon's arms looked like cannons just like Akashi's ones.

Normally, it shouldn't even be possible. It was both confusing and shocking sight. Because, it is known to all that a horrid only has one unique ability and Shohon's was hardening or so it is believed. So, for him to use cannon horrid's ability was astonishing.

Quickly, he changed his arms shape to his usual ones, and made a great dash towards the severely wounded horrid. Whose head was completely blown off, and a giant hole was made on his lower part of the body.

Within in a matter of second, the horrid got cut off in half. His left and right side fell off sideways. As his left and right side was falling off, a sea of blood was colliding from both sides with its purple entrails.

Through those sea of blood and entrails, Shohon could be seen standing, facing forward, expressionless.

Just like that he took down one of the intermediate level horrids like it was nothing.

Then he took a heavy breath, and exhaled it, making a sound. After that, he looked to his left and made a dash towards that direction.

Few people were smoking, standing in the middle of the road. They all looked atrocious. Suddenly, something went passed them. The moment it did they all got cut in half, with their upper body flying in the midair. After few seconds those upper bodies fell on the ground.

Then another man , who was about to kiss a woman's cheek, found himself headless, before even realizing what had happened to him. Seeing his head fall off the woman screamed, but her head fell off too.

10 guards where inside a big building. Abruptly the doorbell rang. Those people looked at one another thinking who might be the person behind the door at this late in the night. 

All ten of them began to approach the door, cautiously with swords in their hands.

One of them gestured another to opened the door. The man nodded his head, and opened the door.

The moment he opened the door him along with others became shocked seeing what was waiting for them outside.

A pile of corpses of their companions were laying on the grassy ground in the yard. And before the door was standing Shohon while heavily breathing. He was breathing so heavily that his breath was visible when it came out of his mouth.

"Who-"

The head of the man who was about to ask him something got blown off.

Others guards panicked as they all pointed their swords at the monster that was standing before them.

But they all met the same fate: all of them got cut off in half within seconds.

Meanwhile, in another room a man with long black hair, black eyes, wearing fancy black suit and wearing a lot of gold rings around his fingers was sitting on his black sofa chair as he was taking a drink all by himself.

Then suddenly the door to his room blew off. 

The man flinched.

"What?!"

After a few seconds, Shohon stepped into the room, slowly.

The man before Shohon was the man who always kept bothering the inn lady. 

The man was mortified seeing a horrifying creature walking into his room. 

He was completely defenseless. He was a strong magic user, but seeing a doom incarnate walking towards him, made him paralyzed in fear.

As he stood their with horrified eyes, Shohon shot a cannon ball from his left hand.

The entire room exploded, burning the man and everything into ashes, leaving only Shohon unscathed.

Like this, people in that city were being killed by Shohon left and right. The whole city was covered with the melody of death. People was screaming, running not realizing what was going on. People were dying in a matter of seconds.

Amidst this screaming only one happy and devilish laughter could be heard. It was Shohon's:

"Hehehahahahaaaahahaha..This is fun. Killing the evil is exhilarating."

The entire city was now covered with blood. Blood was splattered all over the pitched road, and even the buildings. Everywhere you look, you would see dead bodies of people, brutally murdered. 

Hearing the commission earlier, the inn lady came out to see what was going on. After moving the curtains, she looked forward, and fell on her knees, horrified. She saw a monster, who was completely soaked in blood, standing before her. Anyone would be horrified to see such a creature. That monster was non other than Shohon himself. He was illuminated by red light of moon.

He wasn't saying anything, just looking at her. 

She gasped, and looked around. Seeing so many people dead made her even more horrified. Then she turned her head at Shohon, trying to muster her strength to speak. After a bit difficulty, she asked:

"Who are you?"

Shohon didn't answer. After staring at her for a while, he turned around, and started to walk that way. After walking for a while, he stopped,b then the teleportation pentagram appeared beneath him, and teleported him back to the glass room.

The inn lady just sat there with an addled face. Nothing of this was looking real to her. It was more like a dream.

As the wind was whispering by her, she came to the agreement of the current reality. 

After a while, she ,for some reason, put on a face of relieve as the image of Shohon soaked in blood and standing before her blew in her mind.

Thank you...The bloodied hero. Though, this wasn't how I wanted my hero appear and save this town from corruption. But it's fine either way at this point. Even if the entire world consider you an evil, please know this you will always be a hero in my heart. My long wish has finally come true thanks to you.

Even though, she didn't knew the name of the bloodied hero or the face of him, he will always live on in her heart.

Under the normal circumstances, any other women or anyone else would be dreaded by the horrific sight of this blood soaked town. But only thing that seemed to be on the face of the inn lady was a face of gratitude and admiration.

Returning Shohon sat on the floor looking worn out, and his transformation got turned off.

After that, the front door of the room opened, and Elora came clapping at Shohon's survival.

"You did well, boy. You have surpassed my expectations." She said that with a grin on her face.

Shohon just sat on his knees and looked at her with his tired eyes. Then suddenly, the scenery of massacre vaguely came flowing to his mind. He simply couldn't believe what he has done. But, there was no denying that he has killed so many people. Still, he was trying to process by looking up that he had actually kill so many people. He looked devastated:

"Oh no. What have I done! Did I really kill all those people?!"

After that he kept on looking up, feeling utterly devastated.

He knew that he was, indeed, the one who killed those people while laughing. It was his first time killing someone. But, he didn't just kill one, he completely massacred a whole city.

Elora, after thinking for a while, crossing arms, said:

"Hmm. Every Horrid users have a nickname. I wonder what we should call you?...ah,mm, since you turn white when you transform and you will be slaying Horrids from now on, then how about we call you 'White Reaper'? That sounds like a good nickname. So, White Reaper is what we shall call you from now on.
