Aika nuzzled her face into Kai's chest, the warmth of his embrace comforting in a way that made her heart flutter. She couldn't help herself as she whispered, her voice soft and filled with a longing she couldn't quite express.
"Brother, I wonder how Hannah feels when she has you all to herself," Aika murmured, her voice barely audible.
Kai opened his eyes and let out a light laugh, his chest vibrating under her cheek. A soft smile tugged at his lips, the kind of smile that always made Aika feel like everything would be okay. "You're really silly," he teased, his voice warm and affectionate. "You're young and innocent."
Aika pressed her head against the soft kiss he placed on the top of her head, feeling the gentleness of his touch, yet something deep inside her stirred. She didn't want to admit it, but her feelings were growing stronger each second. She didn't just look up to him. She wanted him, in a way that felt confusing and wrong, yet so undeniable.
Before she could gather her thoughts to speak, Kai spoke first, his voice carrying that steady, soothing tone that always put her at ease. "It's not about having someone, Aika. It's not about making love to someone or having them as your handsome man. It's about love and trust. The way you make someone's world colorful. That's love. The majority of love is support. It's about making each other better. People who are loved, they feel motivated—they never get tired because their lover makes them feel soothed."
Aika blinked, processing his words, but the words themselves couldn't quiet the storm of emotions that was rising inside her. Is that what I feel? she thought. I want to be the one who soothes him. I want to be the one he leans on.
Her gaze fell to his chest, the steady rhythm of his heartbeat beneath her ear, comforting but also making her feel a deep sense of longing. I want him to see me differently. Not as a little sister... but as someone worthy of his love.
She wanted to say something—anything to make him understand, but the words tangled in her throat, trapped by the confusion she felt. He's my brother. He's not supposed to be the one I want like this. He told me to wait, to find someone good... but what if I never want anyone else?
Aika shifted slightly, pressing herself closer to him. Her heart raced as her fingers gently traced the outline of his arm, the muscles beneath her touch warm and solid. She inhaled deeply, closing her eyes to steady herself. I can't stop these feelings. Why can't I stop them?
She finally managed to speak, though her voice was soft and hesitant. "But, Kai... what if I don't want someone else? What if I only want you?" Her words were barely above a whisper, more to herself than anything.
Kai shifted slightly, his hand moving from her back to her waist, rubbing small circles in an attempt to soothe her, though he didn't seem to fully understand the depth of her confusion. "Aika, you're young. You'll meet someone who will love you the way you deserve," he said gently, his voice filled with a soft reassurance that made her heart ache. "You deserve someone who'll see all the amazing things in you, the things that make you... you."
Aika's breath caught in her throat. She didn't know how to respond. She wanted him to understand, to see the way she felt, but she knew he never would. Not like this.
I don't know what I'm supposed to do with these feelings... she thought, her chest tightening. Kai, I wish you could see me... see the person I am... not just as your little sister. But how can I ask for that?
Her hands tightened in the fabric of his shirt, her fingers pressing against the strong muscles of his chest as she closed her eyes, desperately fighting the tears that threatened to rise.
"I'll be here for you, Aika," Kai added softly, his voice filled with such care that it only made her feel more confused. "But just... wait. You deserve someone who can love you in the way you need. Not me."
Aika nodded, her lips trembling as she pressed her cheek back against his chest, trying to steady herself. Why does this hurt so much? she thought, her heart aching with the knowledge that her love for him was something he could never return.
She wasn't sure how long they stayed like that, but as the minutes passed, she slowly drifted into a restless sleep, her mind swirling with the thoughts and feelings she couldn't fully understand.
Just as Kai was about to drift off to sleep, he heard the faint creak of the door. The soft light from the hallway illuminated the room, casting a warm glow on Aika's peaceful face. Through the door, a silhouette emerged—Hannah, wearing nothing but a loose t-shirt and her panties, looking at them with a gaze that held both tenderness and a subtle longing.
"Lovey..." Hannah's voice was soft, as usual, but there was an undercurrent of need in her tone. "I thought we were going to..." Her words trailed off, her expression clearly revealing the desire she felt.
Kai looked down at Aika, still sound asleep in his arms, her face peaceful, unaware of the tension building in the room. He gently raised his hand, signaling to Hannah to wait for a moment, before carefully pulling away from Aika's embrace. He stood up, feeling a shift in the air as he moved toward Hannah.
He reached her and softly wrapped his arm around her waist, his voice low and gentle. "Let's go now… I'll take a bath first, okay?"
Hannah leaned into his touch, her eyes reflecting the longing she had been holding back. "Can we take a bath together?" she asked, her voice almost a whisper, but filled with need. "We haven't touched each other in two days... I want you, Kai. I miss you."
Her words were soft but spoke volumes. Kai's heart clenched at the raw honesty in her tone. He gave her a reassuring smile, brushing a lock of hair from her face as they walked through the hallway toward their shared room.
As they reached the door labeled Kai & Hannah Kai spoke, his voice tender yet filled with affection. "Of course, lovey." He placed his hand on the fingerprint scanner, unlocking the door before leading her inside.
Once inside, Hannah pressed herself to him, her body gently molding against his as she nuzzled into his chest. Her voice was barely audible as she spoke, her breath warm against his skin. "Can we... do it here? You haven't touched me for two days, and I miss the feeling of you... of us being close."
Kai's breath hitched as he felt her body press into his, her curves pressing against his chest, the heat between them undeniable. His heart raced at the sensation, but he remained calm, feeling a deeper connection with her in this moment.
"I've missed you too," Kai whispered, his hand brushing along her back. "We'll take our time, lovey. But let's go slow... we've both waited long enough."
He kissed her forehead softly, gently leading her toward the bathroom, where they could finally be together in the way they had both been longing for.
