Memories of the demonic cultivator

The two demonic cultivators flew at full speed towards Li Wei, emitting a scarlet aura along the way.

Li Wei, seeing them coming, remained unfazed, believing they couldn't harm him with his level of power.

But his confidence was a grave mistake. When the two cultivators got close to Li Wei, they activated their secret technique, a suicide attack combining their cultivations to produce a massive explosion.

Li Wei noticed that something was wrong and tried to escape, but unfortunately, he was tied by the chain and the explosion caught him. The explosion pushed him to the ground, knocking down several trees and creating a crater where he landed.

Moments later, Li Wei could be seen covered in blood, with wounds all over his body, breathing heavily.

"Damn, I made a big mistake by being overconfident", Li Wei said before spitting blood and taking a recovery pill.

Han Jing's clone began to disappear, and in its place appeared the real Han Jing, with a wound on his chest caused by the demonic cultivator's sword.

"You did not use a cloning technique?", Li Wei asked curiously.

"I don't know any cloning techniques. I pretended to be a clone to deceive them", Han Jing replied while taking a recovery pill.

"That was very risky. What would have happened if the demonic cultivator had destroyed the supposed clone?", Li Wei asked.

"I had no choice. The demonic cultivator far surpassed me in cultivation, and my only resource was to deceive him to survive", Han Jing replied.

'Although I have a plan B to escape if the demonic cultivator attacks the wooden sculpture again, I won't tell Li Wei since I don't fully trust him', Han Jing thought.

When Han Jing checked the memories of the dead demonic cultivator, his expression became more serious.

When he arrived, he approached the door and opened it carefully, but found the room completely empty and had a bad feeling.

A barrier was formed in the house to prevent Li Wei escape, and an alarm rang, alerting many people.

The house was surrounded by the sect's elders, as well as Mei Hua and her father, the sect master.
