As the car pulled up to the modest house, Janet announced, "We're here."
Isabella stepped out, taking in the sight of her childhood home. "I'm home," she said softly.
They walked inside, and Janet called out, "Toba! Your sister's here!"
A flurry of footsteps echoed before a young man burst into the room. "I'm back!" he shouted, grinning widely.
Janet rolled her eyes. "Not you—your sister!"
Toba froze mid-step, his eyes landing on Julian. "Wait… Julian Moreau? The Julian Moreau?"
Julian gave a polite nod. "Yes, that's me."
Toba's face lit up. "No way! I'm your biggest fan!"
Julian chuckled. "It's always nice to meet a fan."
Before anyone could respond, the door opened, and two more people entered the house. Janet turned to them. "They're here—my sister and brother. Meet Maliy and Jet."
Maliy's eyes immediately landed on Julian, and a sly smile spread across her face. "Well, well. Who's this handsome man?"
Toba eagerly interjected, "That's Julian Moreau!"
Maliy leaned closer, playfully brushing her hair back. "Handsome, smart, and rich? A total package!"
Jet smirked and muttered, "You're already married. Stand down."
Maliy rolled her eyes. "Shut up, Jet. I was joking."
Julian extended his hand politely. "It's nice to meet all of you. But I must get back to the city—with Isabella and Toba, of course. Don't worry; you'll all get invitations to the wedding."
Jet raised an eyebrow. "Wedding? What wedding?"
Janet clapped her hands together. "Oh, did I forget to mention? Isabella's marrying Julian!"
Toba's jaw dropped. "I'm going to be part of the Moreau family?" He turned to Isabella with stars in his eyes. "I love you!"
Isabella crossed her arms, glaring at him. "You love me because I'm marrying into the Moreau family, not because I'm your sister."
Toba shrugged unapologetically. "Pretty much, yeah."
Isabella groaned. "I hate you."
Toba grinned. "I hate you, too."
Jet leaned back against the wall, chuckling. "So, when's the wedding?"
Julian glanced at Isabella with a smile. "Any day now."
Isabella glared at him. "Julian, don't forget—"
Julian held up his hands in mock surrender. "I won't forget."
With that, they left the house and climbed into Julian's car, Toba sliding in beside them.
Back at the Moreau estate, Lucy stood by the door, her arms crossed with a wicked grin. "I love the chaos this wedding is going to cause. Toba, you're going to be an excellent accomplice."
Toba's eyes sparkled with mischief. "You bet I am."
Isabella sighed, already regretting the madness unfolding around her.
