I may have experience doing dungeons in-game. But having to physically explore every room of a floor, fight and try to not get killed, loot corpses and chests, avoid traps and do it all over again on the next floor.
It's exhausting, I feel like I could colapse at any time.
Well... I could just not explore everything and head straight to the boss... But I don't have the heart to simply ignore a room.
And these goblins have been getting stronger. They are longer only club goblins, with the occasional sword wielder... NO... second and floor also added knife, and axe goblins. And third floor!! Not only did it add bow goblins, it also added mounted goblins that ride wild monster dogs.
I feel like I almost died at least twenty times.
Thankfully, it seems I was wrong... my training plan was useful. I'm strong enough to not have the need to cast magic which, given my low mana stamina, is a result that surpasses any expectation I had.
I also feel like i've gotten a bit better at everything related to dungeons. Now I prioritize stealthy surprise attacks over direct confrontation, but if my stealth approach doesn't work, I've also gotten better at fighting these goblins.
Like this one I have right here. First, I lured his friend, killing him before any of the two could notice. After that, it was just a normal fight with the other one.
I'm having an easy time avoiding and parrying any attack he does. Like this piercing attack.
"Grraaah" it was easy to step out of his attack and use my daggers to cut his left hand first, then his right one, followed by a clean slice to his throat, killing him.
*clap clap clap* that was the emotionless Milly praising me for having made it this far.
"That's nice kid" Karla was surprised, she probably thought I'd have given up way before.
"Yeah.... I... I did it" i'm so exhausted I can barely talk.
"No"
"You still have that boss kid"
*groan* "fine... just... give me five minutes"
"That boss isn't going anywhere" Milly looked at Karla with pleading eyes.
"I guess you're right" she looked to the side "But only three minutes"
"Five"
"Three"
"Four"
"... fine" thank god she agreed.
...
...
Magnus gave me three mana restoring potions. Thankfully, I've used up none of them.
Mana in-game worked like any other game, an MP bar with spells that cost an x amount of points. But in real life, I guess that the equivalent to MP would be that casting a spells feel like running or working out and your body can only handle a number of spells before giving up.
Mana potions are like an energy drink that allows you to cast more spells than you normally could.
In terms of throwing knives... I only have three left... that's not good... let's hope this boss is alone.
Speaking of, this boss seems to be an orc, or at least, that's what this dungeon is leading me to believe. But if it's an orc, I'll probably have a speed advantage, I could also cast my magic now, I have the resources to do that...
"Time's up kid. Stand up before I throw you to the boss myself"
*sigh*
I stand up in front of the door.
"Whatcha waitin' for" she was getting impatient "open the door and fight" but Milly shushed her and pointed at me
"Arid winds from the scorching desert, create a storm that blinds my enemies" I burst open the door with a kick.
I see that orc standing there in the middle of the room, waiting for me. As soon as he locked eyes with me, I could see his face turn into a diabolical smile.
"[SANDSTORM]" after my incantation, I casted this tier one wind spell.
On average, this spell is bad. It creates a sandstorm on a radius, lowering the accuracy of everyone ... yes... it even affects the caster... thankfully due to my class passive, I don't get heavily penalized.
"Groaaah" he is affected by my spell and starts rubbing his eyes.
"Winds of the of the north, attack my opponents with a wind, akin to weapons used by the warriors you blessed" fuck incantations, why do they have to be so long?
"[Wind Scythe]" my spell flew to the orc's chest, it's better if I'm careful. I'd rather hit and not kill him, than aim for a kill and fail.
If I had better mana stamina I could afford to miss some shots. But with my current self, I can only cast four spells before needing a potion, the fifth spell would render me unable to move, and on the sixth one I'd pass out.
While my attack impacted the right side of his chest, it's obviously wasn't enough to kill him.
In desperation, he swung his club... tree trunk, around like a monkey, dissipating my sandstorm, and opening his eyes. But, by the time he opened them, I'd already thrown one of my last three remaining knives. Unfortunately it bounced off of his neck.
"How tough are you?" He started running at me, swinging that massive trunk around.
No matter where I look there's no way to evade it.
I started running away from him.
"Dessert winds, blind my enemies" shorter incantation means a weaker spell, but maybe this is what i need.
"[Sandstorm]" I casted my third spell while running, one more and i'll need a potion.
...
Wasted spell... that's all i have to say. Of course a measly sand gust would be easily swept away by that orc.
In the end that orc caught up to me and smashed me with that weapon, sending me flying to the wall... I landed on my feet though... thanks to my unique passive...

I started to draw my bow, ready to help Alen, but Karla stopped me.
"Have some faith in that lil' kid" how can she be so sure "Look, he still hasn't given up"
"..."
"I know you like to spoil him" she smiled "But we wouldn't have sent him here if he couldn't conquer this dungeon"
...
I lower my bow.
________________
The orc's slowly approaching me, laughing.
"Winds of the of the north, attack my opponents with a wind, akin to weapons used by the warriors you blessed" he's getting to cocky
You think you've won, right!?
"[Wind Ram]" a strong wind hit the orc on his stomach sending him flying, letting him lying on the ground.
I drink the mana potion, it tastes like pinneapple juice. But it works, I feel like I can cast four more spells.
I run towards him.
"Winds of olden times, that first spread when spirits roamed the land we walk on, bless my weapon with your own blood and body"
I land above him.
"BUT I ONLY NEED ONE!!!"
"[Wind Infusion]" since it was the strong version of the spell, it looked and felt like my daggers were imbued witha a strong and sharp wind, similar to a tornado.
With all my strength, I lower both my daggers, piercing his head and cutting it on an x pattern.
I... I did it
"Raaaaaaah" all that adrenaline, all that euphoria, dissapeared with that victorious yell.
I fell.
But I could feel karla holding me by the back of my collar.
"Nice job Alen" that made me feel really happy
"We'll loot everything and give you your rewards later" Milly walked past me "We're all proud of you, Alen"
