Liam responded while examining Maureen's wrist.

Seeing no signs of bruising on her delicate wrist, the rage that was burning within him started to subside slightly.

A voice from the infirmary urged, "Come over quickly!"

"Just a moment," Liam shouted towards the voice from the corridor.

He hesitated for a while scuffling his feet on the ground.

He did not dare to look into Maureen's eyes because of his earlier mistake.

Maureen was quietly observing him.

After a while, the voice from the infirmary happened again.

Just then, Liam scratched his head and said in a soft voice,

"I'm sorry, little mask girl, for hitting your brother, I wasn't aware that he was...." Maureen replied, "It's alright, it doesn't bother me at all." So that's what he wanted to say.
