The raise of Maureen Smith and her Good Luck System

Liam's grandpa gave his mother an appointment for the seventh, right before Liam returned.

As his mother said herself, she didn't want to see Liam again until after her treatment was over.

And Liam respected her decision.

Maureen didn't know if everything was moving in a positive direction.

But at any rate, things didn't seem to have gotten worse. ...

During the worst times, she and Liam had already walked together.

Over at the Smith household, the Easter was pretty bleak.

Mike didn't come home this year, so only Mr. And Mrs. Smith, Oliver, and Chris were left at home.

There were three vacant spots at the dinner table, which should have seated seven—of course, Bianca's dining spot and room had already been removed and would never be set up again.

Mike called home, said a few words of blessings, and then hung up.

His business had been affected, he was still busy, and was unable to return for Easter.

Maureen surpasses Richard in the final exams
