Chapter 7

As I continued to speak, my sense of injustice grew stronger. The burden of everything suddenly became too much to bear, and I found myself unable to contain my emotions any longer. I began to weep uncontrollably, my sobs echoing loudly.

Scott gazed at me, his expression shifting to one of bewilderment. He then turned to look over his shoulder at Jessica, who was standing behind him.

Jessica's mouth quivered as she attempted to regain her composure.

"Nadia!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with indignation. "How can you make such accusations? I was up all night worried sick about you, and I even arrived early this morning to check on your condition with the doctor. And now you're accusing me like this? Is your hatred for me that intense?"
