A Snowy Nightmare

I settled into my seat on the aircraft and powered on my mobile to arrange transportation for when I landed.


Instantly, Clyde's call came through. Noticing the countless missed attempts, I reluctantly picked up.


"Angela, where have you gone? My family has cut me off financially after discovering my relationship with Betty. I need to speak with your parents and explain."


"Betty's expecting now. How am I supposed to manage without funds? My parents have even stationed security personnel around my residence. Betty isn't allowed to enter."


Frustrated, I replied, "Clyde, why are you reaching out to me? Are you hoping I'll provide financial assistance? We're finished. How dare you ask your former partner for help?"


Clyde exclaimed anxiously, "Angela, wait! I've moved Betty into your flat, but the building management informed me you terminated the utilities when you departed."
