Chapter 12

"Do you truly believe that a merciless clan like yours deserves to forge an agreement with me?"

Dorian's statement cut through the silence, leaving Axel and his companions stunned. They remained motionless, unable to process what they had just heard.

"What... what are you talking about?" Axel stuttered, his brow furrowing in confusion.

Dorian maintained his composure, but his tone was frigid.

"Why? Have you been so isolated that you can't comprehend simple dialogue?"

"I, Dorian, am not a simpleton. Under no circumstances would I invest in a reprobate like you—someone devoid of talent and overflowing with malice."

His words were biting, and his stare was piercing.

"While you're fantasizing about deals, perhaps you should concentrate on rescuing your Sinclair Enterprises."

Dorian was unyielding, offering no compromise, no deference. Axel's face reddened with rage. If not for Dorian's standing and influence, he would have sprung forward and struck him.
