Led by the gray-haired maid, our "Rabbit" Mr. Bell followed behind the most popular waitress, clearly shy and embarrassed.
To his relief, the other adventurers paid him no attention, treating him like any regular customer.
He took a seat at the bar counter, which offered a single-person booth. The spot was perfect — he could eat in peace without drawing stares, and it was conveniently close to the kitchen.
Adam had initially been led to the same spot by Anya, but preferring to avoid attention, he'd chosen a secluded corner instead.
The waitress had shown particular care for Bell.
Having an acquaintance's recommendation had clearly earned him favor with the waitress staff.
This became obvious when Bell received his food while Adam was still waiting for his order.
Yet Anya didn't keep her valued customer waiting much longer — right after serving the white-haired youth, she brought him his daily special set meal.
A large plate of pasta, a large glass of brewed wine, and an aromatic fish.
Hey, isn't this exactly the same as Bell's?! So, who got ripped off here — me or him?
No more overthinking, focus on battling the food before me. My stomach is crying out, it can't wait any longer.
I scooped up a large mouthful of pasta and devoured it. The flavors exploded in my mouth, making my mouth water uncontrollably.
"Delicious."
"Right?! It's good, isn't it!" Hearing the customer's praise, Anya couldn't help but wag her cat tail.
This pasta really did taste excellent, even slightly better than what Rem makes.
It seems Anya hadn't deceived him — the daily special set was indeed worth serving... though expensive, not many adventurers ordered it.
"Well then, please enjoy your meal at your leisure-nya. I'll take my leave now." Anya left with a giggle.
Adam returned to savoring his meal, but his peaceful moment was soon interrupted by unexpected visitors who would spoil his appetite entirely.
At the cat-girl's enthusiastic welcome, the usually bustling tavern fell oddly silent, all eyes drawn to the entrance.
"Hey, look, look!"
"That's..."
The adventurers nudged their oblivious drinking companions, pointing at the dozen newcomers who had just entered.
"Whew, that girl's a beauty!"
A drunk middle-aged man made crude remarks about the newly arrived 『 Sword Princess 』Ais Wallenstein.
His companion, alarmed, slapped his shoulder, "Idiot, watch your mouth! Look at that emblem!"
"...Damn." The middle-aged man instantly sobered at the sight of the grinning trickster emblem.
He broke into a cold sweat and instinctively wanted to flee, fearing retribution. After a tense wait with no response, his body finally relaxed.
The Loki Familia had mercifully ignored him.
"That's..."
"Yes, it's the Giant Killers — Loki Familia!"
"Ssss—!" ×N
As seasoned adventurers explained, the crowd drew sharp breaths and whispered among themselves.
"Three Level 6 First-Class Adventurers, legends in their own right — their presence is truly extraordinary."
"Are those the First-Class Adventurers?!"
"Wait, which one is the renowned Sword Princess?"
"That one, with the golden blonde hair."
"So young?"
As expected of Orario's celebrity Familia, their entrance commanded attention.
"Alright! Everyone worked hard in this Dungeon Expedition! Tonight we drink till we drop! Drink up!"
At their god Loki's call, the Familia Adventurers raised their glasses in unison.
After several rounds of drinks, the werewolf youth at their table began stirring up trouble.
He was Bete Loga, a First-Class Adventurer known as the 『 Fenris 』.
His face bore an unnatural flush from drinking.
Seeking entertainment, he called out loudly to the girl sitting before him, "Hey! That's right, Ais!"
"What?"
"Tell us about that incident from last time!"
"What incident?"
Bete's persistent questioning only highlighted Ais's natural innocence.
"You know, when those Minotaurs escaped on our way back, and you finished off the last one on the 5th floor? About that Tomato boy you met then."
He seemed to be jogging her memory, putting strange emphasis on those last two words.
This sparked Ais's recognition, and she replied in her characteristic flat tone: "You mean the Minotaurs that attacked us on the 17th floor, which we drove back before they suddenly fled as a group?"
Her answer was straightforward enough.
But the observant Adam noticed Bell's body suddenly go rigid, as if turned to ice.
The "springtime" expression he had worn until now vanished completely.
This young man's pride had been wounded.
"Yes, yes, that time!" Bete, oblivious to how he had hurt a certain young man's pride, continued shouting, "Who knows what miracle made them keep running upward, forcing us to chase them..."
He briefly complained about the Minotaurs before returning to the subject of that memorable "Tomato boy".
"...Then, we found this obvious rookie weakling, cornered against a wall like a rabbit, trembling pathetically with his face twitching!"
Bete's story caught the interest of those around him, especially Tiona who had advised Adam.
"Ohhh, something like that happened?" She exclaimed, "Then what happened to that adventurer — was he saved?"
"Yeah, did he get saved?"
"Tell us, tell us."
Others joined in asking.
After building suspense, Bete announced with clear mockery, "Then, Ais sliced that Minotaur to pieces at the last moment! But... that guy ended up completely covered in blood, looking just like a bright red tomato, hahaha!"
The werewolf's words made other adventurers want to laugh, but seeing their Captain and Vice-Captain's expressionless faces, they had to forcibly contain themselves.
The werewolf youth who had brought up this topic showed no remorse. His laughter grew louder and louder, rippling through the tavern.
As understanding dawned on the patrons, they too joined in the laughter, until the entire tavern echoed with their mirth.
At the front counter, Bell hung his head, his body trembling as he endured their mockery, his distress mounting with each passing moment.
Finally, unable to bear their ridicule any longer, he fled.
