Chapter 6

After Edward's departure, I started sorting through the belongings he left behind.

I devoted hours to erasing his presence from the space.

Resting on my mattress, I glanced up and noticed our wedding picture still adorning the wall.

Gazing at our joyful expressions in the photograph, my mind drifted to memories of the past.

Every guide at Alifa Mount Forest Park was required to attend a safety training session.

It was during this course that I encountered Edward, our safety instructor.

Upon first meeting him, I was struck by his good looks, upright stance, appealing features, and wide shoulders, which instilled a sense of security.

In class, he was attentive, frequently stating, "We only get one life, so we must treat it with utmost care."

I developed an attraction to him, but nothing more at that point.

Subsequently, the park announced that a visitor had ventured into the restricted area of Alifa Mount, prompting Edward to lead a rescue team.
