Draven looked at both of them and thought, "Forest Elves... they aren't really different from Dark Elves. It's just like a black dude and a white dude, I guess. They're races everywhere."
He said with a cute face, "Nice to meet you, Aunt Olivia. Did you bring me a present?"
Olivia smiled. "Since I'm your aunt, of course I brought you a present." She raised her hand, and magical energy gathered in her palm. A Bo arrow, crafted from shimmering wood, materialized. "This is a Bo arrow made from a branch of the World Tree," she said.
Draven's red eyes glowed. He quickly snatched the Bo arrow from Olivia's hand. "Thanks, Aunt!" he exclaimed.
I can't believe I got a Bo made from the World Tree, Draven thought. The World Tree, also known as Yggdrasil, the Tree of Life, is a massive tree in the middle of the Elfen forest that protects the forest. It's even bigger than a skyscraper, something like that. And how do I know about all that? I read about it in a book. That's not the point. The point is that I got a Bo arrow! What can it do anyway?
Draven's mother, Elliana, said, "It's okay to give away your weapon."
Olivia smiled. "It's okay. It's no big deal. It's a gift from an aunt to her nephew."
Draven thought, I remember reading that only members of the Elfen Royal Family can get a weapon made from the World Tree. So she must be part of the royal family.
Draven's mother, Elliana, said, "Draven, why don't you go play with Hannah while I catch up with Aunt Olivia?"
Draven's mother, Elliana, and Aunt Olivia walked away, leaving the two of them alone.
Draven looked at Hannah. I haven't even noticed she was standing there this entire time. Did she just stand there this entire time without saying a word? Wow, she looks young, but I bet she's at least 20. Telling me to play with a 20-year-old. What am I supposed to do?
Olivia put her hand on Hannah's head and said, "Why don't you play with Draven for a while? I'll catch up with your aunt, okay?"
Hannah simply nodded her head, without uttering a single word.
Draven looked at her, thinking, I see. She doesn't talk much.
