Damn it! I'm furious!
Out of nowhere, I got betrayed again. If it were just Miku, I could understand — she was here first.
But what's the deal with Itsuki?
She showed up later and had the nerve to blame me to my face.
Nino's mind filled with images of Miku's shy behaviors. No wonder something felt off earlier.
Given Miku's personality and feelings, how could she possibly have willingly stepped aside?
Now it makes sense why Itsuki said she'd prove it tomorrow — she was planning to consult with Miku. That means...
'If I hadn't been so pushy, Itsuki would never have done that!' Nino was dumbfounded by this turn of events.
It was dark, and she'd been too nervous at the time to notice that "Miku" was actually Itsuki in disguise.
'What the hell!' She had no one to vent her anger to.
Would Daiki end up becoming a shared boyfriend at this rate? By then, Miku's anger wouldn't even faze her — she'd be used to it.
Itsuki sat quietly, avoiding Nino's gaze. She hadn't lost anything, so they'd never catch her.
"So?" Miku's eyes were dark with anger.
Jealousy surged within her, almost driving her to call and question Daiki. But she calmed herself, deciding to find the culprit first.
"Ichika?" Her gaze landed on the first sister.
"Miku, you know me! If it were me, there wouldn't be any evidence left!" Ichika quickly responded.
Miku's face darkened — why did those words sound so suspicious? Was she implying that if she'd done it, she would have been more careful?
She stared for a moment, unable to read her sister's expression.
She turned to the second sister.
"Miku, you know me — with my fashion sense, I would never wear such unfashionable clothes!" Nino hastily explained. She'd long complained about her sister wearing stockings all day.
Miku's expression grew darker.
What did she mean by unfashionable? What was wrong with her clothes?
Daiki actually liked this style!
Her face clouded over, and Nino's heart pounded in her chest.
After a pause, Miku shifted her attention to the fourth sister. She lifted her teacup and asked coldly, "Yotsuba?"
Since Nino and Ichika had been together, she doubted it was either of them.
"Huh? Miku, you know me! With my track team experience, if it were me, I definitely would've left more than just one!"
Miku's teacup trembled — Yotsuba's words nearly made her explode with anger.
But oddly enough, her logic made sense.
She quickly turned to the last sister, Itsuki.
"Miku, you know I would never do something like that!" Itsuki's face reddened as she recalled last night's events.
If anyone else had shown that expression, Miku would have been suspicious. But this was Itsuki — her personality made such deception impossible.
She mistook Itsuki's blush for anger and felt guilty for doubting her innocent sister.
"I'm sorry!" Miku quickly apologized and turned to Rizu.
Rizu met her gaze with innocent eyes, and Miku looked away. This little girl had been by her side the whole time — she couldn't be involved.
Her attention returned to Yotsuba, Ichika, and Nino.
Though Nino and Ichika's explanations were harsh, they matched their personalities perfectly, leaving little room for doubt. Which left only...
Everyone's eyes turned to Yotsuba.
"Huh? It wasn't me! I'm innocent!" Yotsuba protested, panicking under their collective stare.
She was the most guileless of them all — why was she under suspicion?
"It couldn't have been me, could it?" Miku felt frustrated that someone had impersonated her — and not just anyone, but likely one of her own sisters.
Seeing Miku's anger, those harboring guilt remained silent.
Then Nino frowned and spoke up, "Why couldn't it be?"
Her words caught everyone's attention.
The thought had only just occurred to Nino.
She'd never purchased clothes like her sister's. Weren't the clothes and headphones taken from Miku's bedroom?
"W-what do you mean?" Miku's voice caught as realization dawned.
"That's your bedroom, isn't it? Finding clothes like that would be normal. Instead of questioning us, why don't you check your own closet?" Nino's confidence grew with each word.
Miku's mind raced to a possibility she hadn't dared consider. Without another word, she hurried to her bedroom to inspect her closet.
To her shock, something was indeed missing.
"That means..." Her face flushed pink, "Really now, if Daiki-kun wanted it, he could have just asked. How could he secretly take my... and do that kind of thing... I made such a fuss before thinking it through."
She imagined his embarrassment upon return.
Her hands clenched as her thoughts whirled.
"Should I find a way to make Daiki-kun more comfortable? If he keeps holding back, someone else might take advantage."
Miku emerged from her bedroom, face red, and apologized to everyone.
The guilty parties exhaled in relief.
Rizu, oblivious to the truth, simply enjoyed the drama.
Only Yotsuba's eyes flickered with growing shock at Nino and the others. Impersonating Miku was bad enough, but they hadn't even bothered to acquire their own props.
Taking them directly from Miku's closet — how shameless! She would definitely catch Nino and Ichika in the act!
Yotsuba felt hurt about being falsely accused earlier. After all her efforts to help Miku, she'd ended up under suspicion.
Yotsuba shook her head, dismissing these painful thoughts.

Meanwhile...
Naoya Zen'in had transported the Kukuru Unit members to Chiba overnight.
The group stood waiting at a deserted train station.
Ruff!
"Where's this damn train?" Naoya kicked a passing dog as he complained impatiently.
He remained oblivious to the jet-black crows gliding in from the distance, perching on tree branches opposite the station.
The crows tilted their heads, their eyes gleaming like black pearls.
Through his Black Bird Manipulation technique, Daiki used their shared vision to lock onto his target.
