"Cal…" Theodore muttered, suddenly finding himself in a place where he, for the first time in ages, wasn't sure how he was supposed to act. "I'm sorry, but I don't know…"

Gripping Theo's shirt with her hands, Callane pulled him down while climbing up on her toes, reaching with her lips for Theodore's mouth.

Next, the time just… stopped.

Just like Theodore's original spell allowed him to operate within the near infinitely long stretch of a single instant, right now, an undeterminable amount of time had all condensed into a single instant instead.
